Ennoshita turned off his computer and decided to sleep. He took a look at his alarm clock: 4:20

"Ha... "

He closed his eyes and tried to think good thoughts and drift away.

But he couldn't...

That's what you get for bottling up your emotions and releasing them only when no one was there. Instead of sleeping he felt hot tears run down his face.

Normally when he cried he never knew why. But just this once he knew exactly why.

Earlier that day he had seen a certain boy with a shaved head talking to a certain girl with glasses.

Yeah I'm talking about Tanaka and Kiyoko.

He was just minding his own business, walking to the locker room then

"Kiyoko-san... Please don't yell at me or ignore me this time... "

He hid by the corner and peeked only to see Tanaka holding a bouquet of flowers talking to well, obviously Kiyoko.

"I'm sure you already know, but I've liked you for the past two years and I couldn't keep going without telling you for reals... "

Ennoshita felt tears running down his face as he covered his mouth with his hand to avoid sobs that could've been heard.

"I'm aware I'm not as... Vocal about my feelings as you are, Ryu. But I do actually not mind the idea of... Dating you? I'm not the best at this sorry"

Ennoshita was well aware of Tanaka's feelings, but he had never anticipated that it would ever hurt this bad when she liked him back.

Yeah, sure he knew it was bound to happen... He treated her like a queen after all, and although he was quite annoying he never disrespected her in any ways.

So why does it hurt so bad?

Just the memory of the earlier events of the da- wait yesterday? Whatever. Made him sob. He pulled the covers over his head and snuggled with his plushies, quite literally suffocating them.

Was it stupid to cry over a simple crush? Yeah, it kinda was...  But that wasn't Ennoshita's only issue

Addiction to smoking, depression, social anxiety,  insomnia, self harm history, isolophobia...

Honestly at 17... That's pretty fucked up

Could you blame him though?
