Chapter 10: Final Showdown Part 2.

What is Thawne's endgame? Will Barry finally defeat the Reverse Flash?

It has been a few days since the Luthor's were arrested. And what Lex said was on Barry's mind. He never let his guard down. He never knew when Thawne was going to strike. Kara got a text. "It's Miss Grant. She wants to see me" she said. "What about?" Barry asked. "I don't know. I wonder what it could be" she said. "Okay. See ya" he said. Barry kissed Kara before she left.

When Kara left, Barry was getting a call. "Hello?" he asked. "Hello Barry. It's been a while" they replied. It was Thawne. "Thawne! What do you want?" Barry asked. "Meet me in Central City tonight at 8" Thawne said. Then he hung up.

Meanwhile at CatCo, Kara was in Cat's office. "Hello Kara. It's been too long" Cat said. "It has, hasn't it?" Kara said. "I've decided to leave CatCo and spend more time with my sons" Cat said. Kara was shocked with what she heard. "Really? I never thought you'd leave the empire you've built" Kara said. "It was a tough decision, believe me. But, I'm leaving CatCo in safe and capable hands" Cat replied. "Who?" Kara asked. "Why you, of course" Cat said. Kara was shocked with what Cat said. "I don't expect you to make a decision right away so, come back to me tomorrow" Cat said. Kara left Cat's office with a shocked look on her face.

Later that day, it was almost time for Barry to meet Thawne. "Hey, I'll be going to Central City for a little while" he said. "What's wrong?" Kara asked. "Nothing. Caitlin called saying that she may need some help. Don't worry, I'll be fine" he said. "Hmm, okay. Be careful" she said. She kissed him before he left.

Barry arrived in Central, waiting for Thawne to arrive. He did. "Thawne" Barry said. "Barry. It's been too long. So, what do you say we end this?" Thawne asked. "You read my mind" Barry said. "I'd like you to meet an old friend" Thawne said. Zoom appeared. "Zoom? You're meant to be dead" he said. "Thawne quite kindly saved me from Time Wraith and brought me here. To finish you" Zoom said. "And I'd like you to meet Godspeed" Barry said. Godpseed appeared. "You didn't think I'd come here alone, did you?" Barry asked. "Godspeed, you take Zoom. I got Thawne" he said. Barry had Thawne, and Godspeed had Zoom.

It was a mighty battle. Not one of them was holding back. There was lightning everywhere. And lightning even formed in the sky. Zoom tried to vibrate his hand through Godspeed's chest, but it was no use. "I'm not a human, Zoom" he said. Godspeed grabbed Zoom's hand, spun around in circles and threw him into a building. Thawne had Barry against a lamppost. "Give up, Barry. You know you can't defeat me" he said. "I am stronger than you'll ever be" Barry said. Barry pushed him away. He shot lightning bolts at Thawne. Thawne did the same thing. There was a huge explosion. Thawne came charging at Barry while he was unsighted, and Barry landed into a car. Thawne was ready to kill Barry, but then, two speedsters appeared. Kid Flash and Jesse Quick.

"You didn't think you'd hog all the fun now?" Wally asked. "Thanks guys. Jesse, you help Godspeed. Wally, men and you take Thawne" Barry said. Jesse went to help Godspeed and Wally was helping Barry. They ran around Thawne, firing lightning bolts. Thawne was hit. Wally went in to punch him, but he caught the punch and chucked him away. Barry and Thawne charged at each other, both equally strong and powerful. But, Thawne was edging in the stand off. He slammed Barry into the ground. "I told you, Barry. I am unbeatable. And you always lose the ones you love. Like now" Thawne said. Thawne was walking towards Wally, who was still on the ground. Barry saw this and was getting angry. "Stay away from him!" he shouted. He got up, and started to absorb electricity around him. From lampposts, cables and then from the sky. Barry started to conduct lightning from the sky, and he was engulfed in lightning. He started to scream and Thawne was star struck. Barry fired lightning at Thawne, it struck him, and Thawne started to yell in pain. Barry clapped his hands together and a powerful wave of lightning fired towards Thawne. There was an explosion, and Thawne was in the middle. He was shot up and landed, hard, into the ground. Barry dropped to the floor. Then a Time Wraith appeared. It wiped out Zoom once again.

A few days later...

Barry woke up in Star Labs and was groggy. He had a terrible headache. "Oh, my head! What happened?" he asked. Kara was beside him. "Barry! Oh thank rao you're okay. Do you remember anything?" she asked. "I remember fighting Thawne and Zoom, Wally and Jesse came and then, pitch black" he replied. "Thawne's in the meta prison. But, with what Wally described and what Thawne said, we think you absorbed his speed" Caitlin explained. "I did?! I didn't know I could do that" he said. "When you struck Thawne with all that lightning, you must've absorbed his speed" Wells said. "Thankfully, he's finally defeated" Barry said. "Yeah, he is. Besides there's something I need to tell you" Kara said.

The next day, Kara was announced as the new owner of CatCo. And during the press conference...

"My name is Kara Danvers, and I am... Supergirl" she said.

Later that day, Barry and Kara were in their apartment. "So, the world now knows that we're the Flash and Supergirl" Barry said. "Yeah. At least, Lex and Thawne are gone. And whatever we face next, we face together" Kara said. Kara picked up Elianna. "I love you, Barry Allen" she said. "I love you too, Kara Danvers. Or Kara Zor-Allen, cause you're an alien and married, which I still think is very cool" he said. They held each other together and looked forward.
