⚠️Brief mention of suicide⚠️

As Mafuyu lay in bed, with Uenoyama to his right, he stares to the ceiling. The fan blades moved in a circle, making a whoosh sound as they passed.

Mafuyu looks at Uenoyama, listening to him groan and snore in his sleep. Mafuyu rolls over to his side and scoots closer to Uenoyama, matching up with his breathing.

"Look to the fan," a familiar voice in Mafuyu's head whispers.

Mafuyu felt his body freeze up. He usually got these random episodes where flashbacks of Yuki's suicide would play in his head.

Mafuyu sits up in bed, placing his hands around his eyes so he couldn't see what's next to him, and quickly walks into the kitchen from the bedroom.

He opens the fridge and pours some water into a water glass, taking a few sips. Mafuyu sighs, and looks to the floor.

Tears fill his eyes and he looks into the bedroom, seeing the love of his life, Uenoyama. Mafuyu smiles slightly, and finishes his water, placing the glass in the sink.

He slumps back into the bedroom and lays down, cuddling up to Uenoyama.

Uenoyama opens his eyes, and sees Mafuyu snuggling into him, and wraps his arm around Mafuyu's waist.

Mafuyu blushes and closes his eyes.

He looks down to his hands, and notices the empty beer cans on the floor. Tears fall to his palms as he looks up, seeing Yuki hanging.

Mafuyu covers his mouth and screams into it, completely breaking down and falling to the floor. He pounds his fists to the wooden ground, causing his knuckles to bleed a bit.

Mafuyu's body starts to shake as he looks back up, seeing Yuki there. It had to be a dream.. this isn't happening again.

Mafuyu sees his red guitar under the coffee table nearby and grabs it, bringing it close to his body. He squeezes it tightly, tears streaming down his cheeks.

"Mafuyu," a voice calls out.

Mafuyu looks around, only seeing darkness surrounding him and closing in on him.

"Mafuyu," the voice calls again.

Mafuyu opens his eyes to see Uenoyama hovering over him, tapping his shoulder repeatedly.

"Uenoyama-kun?" Mafuyu whispers. "Was I dreaming?"

A sense of clarity washes over Uenoyama face. "Yeah.. did you have another flashback?"

Mafuyu looks away for a second, wiping his eyes dry. He nods his head. Uenoyama places his hand on Mafuyu's jaw and carefully turns his face to look at him.

"U-Uenoyama-kun?" Mafuyu stutters.

"Yeah," Uenoyama mumbles.

"Do I annoy you? With Yuki.. stuff?" Mafuyu asks quietly.

Uenoyama shakes his head. "No, you don't annoy me."

"I don't want you to feel second best."

"I don't feel second best, Mafuyu. I'm right here.." Uenoyama whispers with a scratchy voice.

Mafuyu smiles as Uenoyama wipes Mafuyu's tears with his thumb and kisses his cheeks dry.

Mafuyu glances over to the ceiling fan and exhales sharply.

"Two people who were always together are torn apart"
