Mafuyu x Uenoyama [one shots]

Uenoyama helps Mafuyu out of the car, and makes sure Mafuyu can't see through the cloth covering his eyes. He shuts the door and carefully leads Mafuyu up the stairs to their apartment.

"Ok.. I'm gunna take the cloth off your face when I'm ready. Don't take it off yourself," Uenoyama clearly directs.

Mafuyu nods his head as Uenoyama unlocks the door. They both slowly make their way into the dimly lit apartment and stand still for a second.

Uenoyama flicks the switch on and makes eye contact with Haruki, Akihiko, Hiiragi, Shizusumi and Koji and nods his head. He slips Mafuyu's cloth off quickly as everyone then cheers, "Happy birthday, Mafuyu!"

Mafuyu smiles and covers his hands over his mouth. He looks to Uenoyama and tears begin to slowly trickle down his cheeks. Mafuyu sniffles and pecks Uenoyama's face with a kiss.

"Did you plan this all for me, Uenoyama-kun?" Mafuyu blushes.

"Maybe.." Uenoyama smirks. He wraps his arms around Mafuyu's waist and pulls him close. He wipes his tears off his cheeks and kisses him slowly. Uenoyama then mumbles, "Happy birthday, baby. I love you."

Mafuyu giggles. "I love you, too."

Mafuyu releases himself from Uenoyama's grasp and greets everyone who attended his surprise party.

"Sit here!" Haruki gestures to a chair next to him.

Mafuyu walks over and sits down, awaiting what would happen next. Uenoyama and Akihko walk over to the kitchen and grab the cake out of the fridge. Akihiko lights the candles and hands Uenoyama the cake. Hiiragi walks over to the light-switch, flicks it off and walks back over to where Mafuyu sat.

Everyone begins to sing 'Happy Birthday' to Mafuyu as Uenoyama carefully carries the cake in his direction. Mafuyu blushes at the sight of Uenoyama as the candle creates shadows on his face.

Uenoyama kneels down in front of Mafuyu and holds the cake up near his face. "Make a wish," he says.

Mafuyu closes his eyes for a few seconds and then blows out his candles. Everyone, except Uenoyama, begins to clap. Uenoyama heads to the kitchen once more and begins to cut slices into the cake.

Mafuyu walks over to him. "Want some help?" he offers.

Uenoyama shakes his head, "No, it's your day. Enjoy it."

"But I'd really like to pitch in just a little bit," Mafuyu offers again.

Uenoyama stands his ground and says no once more. "Enjoy your day. I can take care of you for once," he smiles.

Mafuyu playfully scoffs and places his head in his hands on the counter below him. He watches Uenoyama put slices of cake on the paper plates along with plastic silverware.

"What'd you wish for earlier?" Uenoyama asks.

"I can't tell you or else it won't come true!"

"Ah, I guess that's right. I forgot," Uenoyama teases. He slides a plate over to Mafuyu, giving him the first slice of the vanilla cake. "Cake!"

Everyone heads over to the counter and chooses a slice of cake and begins to dig in, making small talk amongst one another.

Mafuyu looks over to Uenoyama and smiles. He thinks back to when he blew his candles out. "I wish for Uenoyama to be my future for forever"

i really likes writing this tehe. it's currently 2:55am where im at as im finishing this up (lol oops) and realized i have a little bit over 2k reads! tysm! this is crazy because i literally had around 1k two days ago!!

also.. lmk which you'd rather see- banana fish ONE SHOTS or banana fish FANFIC. if its a fanfic, it'll take me just a little bit more time to release it, but if its one shots im afraid they'll repeat the given one shots/sound similar. but lmk!! cause i really wanna do something with the anime.
