Mafuyu x Uenoyama [one shots]

The sound of branches snapping followed Uenoyama & Mafuyu as they hiked throughout the forest, near the campground as to where they were staying.

The trees were quiet and the only thing you could hear were the birds chirping echoing all around them. It was almost peaceful, and Mafuyu rarely enjoyed hiking outdoors.

Uenoyama turns his head to see Mafuyu falling behind him. Mafuyu slows down, trying to catch his breath as they were going up a steep hill. Uenoyama carefully trails down next to him and grabs his hand, holding it tight.

"Let's go, we're almost there," he says. Mafuyu looks up and nods his head, allowing Uenoyama to guide him through the forest.

The sky only turns darker the more they continue walking, unaware of the time passing until it hits 6:30 in the evening.

"What were we even looking for?" Mafuyu asks.

"Nothing in particular, I guess. I just thought it would be fun."

Mafuyu shivers, only slightly, but noticeably. Uenoyama wraps his arm around his shoulder, bringing him closer. He runs it up and down Mafuyu's arm, attempting to comfort him.

"Can we go back? It's getting cold.."

Uenoyama nods, turning the two of them around, only to realize he actually had no idea where they were. He aimlessly wandered around, still holding Mafuyu close to him, quickly trying to remember where their camp was.

Mafuyu looks up at Uenoyama's worrisome expression. "Are we close?" he shivers.

"I.. I don't know.."

Mafuyu immediately stops walking. "You don't know?" His teeth chattering against each other.

Uenoyama shakes his head, studying Mafuyu's eyes for even the slightest idea as to what he was thinking. Mafuyu stands still, silent, trying to process that they were lost.

"I'm sorry," Uenoyama says, holding his hand out, only for Mafuyu to continue standing still.

"I'm cold," he finally responds, brushing past Uenoyama and continues walking.

"Are you mad?"

Mafuyu shakes his head, "Just scared, and it's freezing out.. so.."

Uenoyama catches up to him and grabs his hand, pulling him close to his chest as an attempt to keep him warm. "It's okay.. I got you.. we'll find our way back, I promise."

omg it feels so good to be writing again :) i missed all of you sm! i'm starting to actually draft a story, which hopefully i can soon publish on wattpad.

i can't believe i'm so close to hitting 100k reads. thats so unbelievable. and im grateful for every single one of you! <33
