Mafuyu leans onto the doorframe of his and Uenoyamas bedroom. Immediate goosebumps travel up his spine and up to his neck, almost as if Uenoyama was resting his head there. Mafuyu closes his eyes, wrapping his arms around his waist, and slowly falls his way onto the floor.
His hands began to shake, and tears quickly started streaming down his cheeks. Mafuyu watches as the water drips onto his palms.
This was the second time. The second love. The second loss.
Mafuyu crawls over to Uenoyamas side of the bed and clutches onto his blanket, immediately breaking down into a sob. He gasps for air, and glances over to a picture of the two of them on the wall. Mafuyu slightly smiles, his tears calming to a slow pace.
¨Why did you have to leave me?¨ Mafuyu calls out in a whimper. No answer, as expected. The apartment was too quiet, almost as if Mafuyu wasn't even inside the place.
¨Uenoyama..¨ Mafuyu mumbles, his tears dripping onto the hardwood floor. He grips onto his sweater, head falling to the ground.
¨I LOVED YOU!¨ He finally screams out. The echo of his voice bounces around the lifeless apartment. ¨I fucking loved you,¨ Mafuyu whispers.
