Sitting in one of the chairs that was inside the tent, I looked at my hands, who were being healed by the son of Apollo.

His hands were busy with mines, I was aware that my wounds weren't as bad as some of my teammates, but they still hurt somehow and he was taking care of me as much as possible, he knows I have to keep leading, and being injured the first day wasn't going to stop me.

"They don't look so bad" he announced as he kept cleaning me carefully.

"I never said they were" his smile was now present on his lips "but I need to get these treated so I can continue looking for the rest of the flags with the rest, I heard the other team is going for the Iris flag now, and I have to go help prevent it at all costs."

"Don't overwork yourself, let me finish doing this, and we will see later."

I nodded and straightened my posture.

His eyes turned from hazel to almost bright yellow, and I gasped as I have never seen him on this state, usually when we practiced his healing abilities, he wasn't like this, he simply would cure and or heal things, but it never made any changes on his appearance, but this time, his eyes were glowing, and I couldn't be more proud.

He really is a fast learner; I love the way he has been progressing.

"Well, this is new" his eyes were still glowing at the moment I spoke, but few seconds later they stopped glowing, and they were at his normal hazel colored eyes.

He smiled tiredly.

"It is" he stated "this is the first time it has happened."

I looked down at my hands and there was no trace of any kind of wound.

"Lucas" I called his name, and we looked directly into each other's eyes "you are a true born healer."

"What does that mean?"

"It means when you heal, you do it with your soul, not with your body, it tends to tire you a little, but you'll get a hang of it" his eyes were a little droopy and I know he was getting tired, the first time must be a pain in the ass.

I grabbed the side of his cheek with one of my own hands and smiled.

"You have a gift anybody would kill for, take good care of it" he nodded as he grabbed my hand with his "and rest, now."

He nodded once more, and then with his hand still on mine, he got closer to me and kiss me softly on the lips, it wasn't too long, but it truly was memorable, I was a little bit in shock, but I regained my posture and mentally I blocked any kind of weird feeling and let myself go with the flow.

"As you say chief" I giggled, it sounded weird when he called me like that, but it was also funny.

"And thanks for letting me be the first one you use your powers with."

"Sure, it wasn't much my choice but my soul's" we both smiled once again "either way, you're very welcome."

It was the end of the first day and the other team successfully captured the Iris flag.

It was a slight disappointment, because when the backup was arriving, they were too many, and we couldn't keep it safe.

We were equal now, each team had stolen one flag from the opposite team, let's see who gets the advantage from now on.

"What's the plan?" Johnny was standing with some of his siblings changing some plans of strategy and revising some others, I could tell he was a little worried.
