Chasing the Villianess

ITA 28

1:30 na kaming nakabalik ni Aidan sa School.  Sana hindi pa ako late. Kasalanan ito ni Aidan kapag ako nakagalitan ni Fana.

"Ms. Sonic where have you been?" Nakapamaywang na tanong ng SSG President. Hindi naman siya galit nakapamaywang lang talaga siya.

"We just eat lunch together." Si Aidan na naman ang sumagot para sa akin.

Matalim na tignan ni Fana si Aidan. Siya pa naman ay katulad ni Ma'am Talabong na may paniniwalang Time is Gold. Well, ako din naman ay naniniwala doon.

"Next time Mr. Briar kung kukunin mo dito si Ms. Sonic ibalik mo din sa tamang oras sayang yung oras. Kulang na kulang na kami sa time para sa paggagawa ng mga gagamitin namin." Sabi ni SSG President na ngayon ay parang nagagalit na ang boses pero hindi naman ito mabakas sa kanyang mukha namula lamang ang kaniyang ilong which makes her cute.

Nang masabi na niya iyon ay agad siyang tumalikod at bumalik sa kaniyang ginagawa.

"Ikaw kasi, eh."

Siniko ko ng bahagya si Aidan. Napakamot lamang naman siya sa kanyang batok atsaka ngumiti sa akin.

"I can offer my help," He shrugged.

"Tell it to Fana," I started to do some work.

I saw him in my peripheral vision. He was now talking to Fana. I guess it was all about the 'Helping' thing. I ignored them and focus my self on doing the curtains.

"Hey," He was walking in my direction. I just answered him by a hum.

"Pumayag si Fana 'wag lang daw akong manggulo." He get a bottle cap and do what I am doing right now.

"Yes our grades depend upon the result of this." I was busy on making a hole in the bottle caps.

"This will be successful." He uttered out of a sudden.

"Yeah I hope so," I grab another bottle cap. "I want to graduate." I really do. I don't want to disappoint those people who adopt me.

"Don't worry I'll help."

I suddenly felt his lips on top of my head. I really like his peppermint scent. I sniff it a little. He pull back himself and get back on what we are doing.

Napansin kong napakabilis niyang magbutas. Tila ba para itong eksperto sa pagbubutas. Nagkibit-balikat na lamang ako at nagbutas na lamang din. Mas maayos nga iyon at mapapadali ang aming gawain.

Finally, we finished our curtains. Thanks to Aidan our work seems to be easy. He was quick and focused doing it.

I saw Avi yawning that's why I can't help but to yawn too. There was a fact that I've read on the internet about this. I thought it wasn't true since it never happened to me in the past.

"Inaantok ka na?" I shook to tell him that I am not.

"It's just my neurons," Pakigayang neurons.

"Are you sure? I can ask Ma'am Talabong to let us go."

"I'm not sleepy Aidan. Don't mind me. Mind your own."

We are now facing each other. He was intently looking at me. Looking if I was telling him the truth. When he saw that there's no trace of drowsiness on my face he  take off his eyes on me then he stood up and leave.

I was shocked upon his sudden leave. Is he mad at me? I was really telling him the truth. I shrugged. I didn't do anything wrong why is he like that. I sighed. Does he really want to go home that badly?
