there's not much backstory bc y/n doesn't like opening up, but she will later on in the story. y/n and samy are twins. their mom and dad are rich and well known mafia leaders. their parents partnered up with the castanos working together bc their dads are bestfriends. mariano and y/n always messed around with eachother but never were serious. their moms always bothered them abt dating, being the cutest couples, and wanting them to marry eachother.
