At the same time in the streets of D.C. It was dark outside; the lanterns did already shine. The streets were empty. No one was speaking, you could only hear the wheels of the car go round and round on the asphalt. The car slowly made its way through the streets and stopped in front of Gibbs house. Two people stepped out of the car; one went to the front door of the house the other one to the backdoor of the car. Gibbs was in his cellar building his boat. He grabbed some sandpaper and worked it over the wood. He heard footsteps coming from the floor above him. He didn’t interrupt till Ziva appeared at the staircase. “Hey Gibbs. Nice to see you.” Gibbs smiled and put the sandpaper away to give her a hug. “Hey Ziva.” As they released their hug Ziva asked: “Tali is sleeping in the car. Do you have a place where she can sleep?” “Yeah, she can have Kelly’s old bedroom.” “Thanks.” Ziva went up the staircase again trying not to make any loud noises. Before she had the chance to enter the living room again, Tony stood in front of her with an awake little girl on his arm.” “She isn’t asleep anymore, I think. I don’t know why, I drove. There’s no reason why she should be awake.” Ziva rolled her eyes and pushed Tony’s arm lightly, which made Tali laugh.” “Ouch! Stop laughing at me, don’t you dare to like Ima more than me. This ain’t fair I didn’t do anything.” “It’s always your fault Dinozzo!” Gibbs walked towards them and took Tali on his arm saying: “Hey little princess. Good to see you again. I’ve missed you.” “I missed you to Grandpa!” Tali grinned. She put out her Index finger and nudged Gibbs nose with it. This made all of them laugh. Gibbs said: “Let’s go and see your bedroom.” Tali got excited and said: “I have an own bedroom? I want to see it.” “So, let’s go.” Ziva and Tony waited in the living room as long as Gibbs was showing Tali her room upstairs.
