THAT NIGHT THEIR WORDS of love meant so much more than it seemed to both of them. But those realizations that concluded with fear were not the only thing that was conceived, little to their knowing.

     The rays of sun were gently brushing against her soft skin, making her turn around in order to avoid the light, only to meet a pair of golden eyes staring lovingly at her. His smile made her heart sink as she felt a strange and new feeling filling up her being. She knew how falling in love felt and she thought she also knew how love did feel, after all she felt it for Dabi, didn't she? But this time it was warmer, softer and it didn't make her feel craved for, but wanted and needed. And most importantly it made her feel safe. His smile and gaze upon her morning face, a gaze filled with love and care, made her realize just how much and deeply she had fallen for the winged man.

"Good morning songbird. How are you feeling?" he said with a small smile

    His voice was deeper than usual as he probably had just woken up. She smiled faintly as she pressed a small kiss on his swollen lips.

"Better now that you're lying besides me" she said as she watched him get flustered

    Y/N was new to love and so was Keigo, but that didn't stop them from trying to show their affection in their own way.

"About what you said last night..." Hawks began unsure of how he should handle the situation

"I know, I may have been reckless, but I'm sure I felt something and I want to try it out" she said softly

"You don't have to say that if you don't mean it. I want you to be as real as possible with me. I will accept you even if it means throwing myself away" he confessed

     Indeed Hawks was ready to sacrifice everything for the woman in front of him. He had a rough childhood and even a tougher life. He was viewed as a service person, people were entitled to have or as simple eye candy for the many girls and women watching, but not once had he felt love, not even towards his father. The winged hero was already taking risks and putting his life and career on the line as he was not reporting anything from what the girl just told him. For all he knew she could still be a spy or working for the league, he had all the reasons to arrest her as she confessed to having a former relationship with a member of LOV. But he didn't care one bit about that. Y/N made him happy and for the first time in his 23 years of life, he felt love towards another person, and for that he was willing to put his life on the line.

"I am not lying to you. I really do feel something for you, but I'm not sure what it is. I have never experienced this thing in my life before and it's so foreign to me that it's scaring me" she admitted folding her wings close to her back

     His golden hues looked softly into her (e/c) ones as he stroked her (h/c) locks with his rough fingers, taking her closer to his body.

"Y/N I love you. So take my words and do whatever you want with them. I will wait for you to tell me how you feel when you are ready. No matter what you do or say, I will still love you. I am yours Y/N, I am giving myself to you" he said pressing his lips against hers

    Even if the (h/c) head gave into the kiss, the words the foolish man just said were still imprinted into her mind. She thought he was quite reckless to say something like that so easily to someone who rejected him so many times. But at the end of the day she knew that he was not completely wrong letting her get so close to him, so personal and under his skin.

"Thank you Keigo" he smiled as she hopped off the bed

"There's something quite funny about you songbird..." he said with a grin

"And what's that?" she said walking to the bathroom

"You're like a devil who just grew horns and has no idea how to use them. Dangerous but with no evil intention" he said brushing his teeth

"Really? I would say I am more like Icarus. Flying so close to the sun for a love that might end up being the end of me. But what more beautiful way to die than being taken by the flames of hope?" she said scrubbing the honey scented body wash onto her skin

     Little did they know that Icarus was not going to reach the sun, he would be set on fire down onto Earth while his love consumed all his hope until there was none left.

i wanted to give more of Y/N and Hawks realtionship since till now no one really saw what was going on around them
but there's going to be more action and more spicy moments (no, i don't mean nsfw specifically, i also mean important and dramatic scenes for the plot)
