   SHE WAITED the entire morning and afternoon for her phone to ring, and each time that happened she would jump excitedly to look at it, but each time she ended up even more hooked to answer it.

"Did they call you yet?"

    Her friend said as she entered the door with a bag full of goodies. All types of cans, snacks and vegetables that her friend might need if she felt hungry.

"No. Not yet. But I am still hoping"

"Maybe you shouldn't get your hopes up s-"

    She was interrupted by the phone that was now ringing again for the 27th time today. Yes, she counted them.

"IT'S THEM!"

   The (h/c) haired girl quickly answered the phone in excitement as she listened to the other part talking. Her face was lighting up more and more and she couldn't believe what she heard. She ended the call only to look back at her friend and smile widely.

"I got it! I got the job!"

   Her friend rushed over to the girl and hugged her tight and close. She was happy that she got this job since she worked really hard for it. It was one of the few things that really made her feel some type of way since it happened.
   She was quite surprised that her friend got the job. Working as an assistant for heroes was no joke and definitely was not an easy job. And besides that, someone with no quirk is someone suspicious, since it is just as rare as someone born with multiple quirks. But she somehow got it and she was extremely happy about it and that's the only thing that mattered.

"So..did they tell you who you're gonna work with?"

"No. Not really. They told me to come by the agency this evening so they can give me a list of heroes that requested an assistant and choose from there"

"Cool. Maybe you'll work with someone like All Might or Eraserhead"

"I wish...but none of them wanted an assistant. So I will stick with other heroes just like Mount Lady or Midnight"

"Midnight sounds cool. Why don't you pick her?"

"I don't even know if she's on the list. Besides, I don't think me and her would be a very good fit. She's some type of way...and well I am not"

    They both laughed a bit and chatted until she decided to leave the (h/c) haired girl alone to prepare for her job. Well she didn't exactly start her job, but she still had to look presentable since she was going to the agency. She wanted to make a good impression to whoever she will decide to work with.

    Her (e/c) orbs gazed upon the tall building while grabbing her purse tightly. She was nervous since she had to make a big decision, and she might not even know any of the pro heroes names there, but she would still have to choose one.

"I feel like this is going to be hard.."

   The interesting thing about MNA was that they let the assistants choose their employees, and if they weren't a good fit for the hero they would have to resign to another one. She hoped to make the right choice from her very first try, so she wouldn't have to resign.
    She entered a long hallway aiming for the white door at the end of it. She wasn't wearing heels as she wanted to do, since she might have been sent right away to the hero and maybe heels wouldn't be that comfortable to move in all day. She tried to be casual, but in a good way, a way that would maybe make her look professional, so despite her wearing sneakers she had a pair of blue denim jeans and a white blouse that would button up to the neck, making sure she wouldn't reveal too much skin.

"This is the list, miss (y/n). Make sure to choose any hero you desire to work with"

    The woman smiled warmly as she handed the (h/c) haired girl the list that was filled with many hero names. After she looked over it for a while she pointed at one name with hope and excitement.

"Let's see..great choice miss! I'm sure the hero will be more than happy to work with you. You seem like a joyful person so I'm sure Ms. Joke will like you"

"I hope so too"

   The woman was in her late 40's and she seemed still full of life. She handed the girl another paper where she was supposed to sign as a form stating she truly chose that certain hero to be her employee. Well the contract wasn't fully made, not until the hero would sign it after they spend some time with the new assistant, to make sure they would be a good fit.

"Ms. Joke was informed of your choice and she's expecting you tomorrow morning, at around 9 am. Make sure to be there on time, she hates when people are late"

"Yes, I understand. Thank you so much"

    She walked out the office holding a binder full of paperwork she had to do for Ms. Joke. She was from now on her assistant, even if she was under probation she still wanted to act like she was official and give her best.

   The alarm went off and a still dozy and sleepy certain (h/c) haired girl dragged her feet across the apartment in order to change and go straight to work. It was maybe a bit too early for her liking but she didn't exactly have a choice. She needed to be on time for Ms. Joke.
   She pulled whatever clothes she found in a rush and left the house in a quick second. She was almost running so she wouldn't miss her bus. She knew that her new boss hated when people were late so she tried her hardest to be on time, especially since it was her first day.

   As she arrived at the small sweet shop she was instructed to go to, she saw a relatively tall woman with green hair who laughing with joy. She was surrounded by some well built males who were enjoying her colorful smile and the sweetness of the cake. The (h/c) haired girl walked up to the table where they were settled and with a crooked smile, a bit forced if we are honest, she introduced herself.

"So you are my new assistant? Well look at that! You're one hell of a girl. So pretty! I hope we're a fit (Y/N)!"

    She bowed down letting them know that Ms. Joke had a tight schedule she had to follow ahead.

"Are you always this strict? Laugh with us, have some fun."

   She was a bit too stiff for the green haired female, but she decided to give her a chance, maybe she was just nervous. After all it was her first time seeing a hero up close and also her first day at the new job, so she gave her the benefit of the doubt.

  I know that not much happend in this chapter, but i didn't want to make it too long. But in the next one i assure you that y/n will finally meet Hawks as well!!
