  SHE NEVER CAME back home after the fight they had. She never answered his calls or texts and she never went to the same places she used to. She became a ghost, almost like a dead person, the only time he saw her was really early in the morning when she entered the agency, but that was it. He tried to follow her multiple times, but she never left by foot, she always flew to where she was headed, making it impossible for Dabi to catch her. To say that he was hurt was too little for the amount of regret and broken feelings that he was fighting.
     He tried to swallow his sorrow with toxic drinks and drugs that would only take his mind off for a couple hours, but after that he was back in the same state or maybe even worse. He missed her deeply and truly. She was the first woman besides his mother that he loved, she was the first person who understood him and loved him for who he was, not minding his horrible aspects or wanting to change him.
      But she was now gone due to a little fight, or so he thought. The real reason Y/N left was because he was toxic and it made her feel so bad about herself and even if she loved Dabi to the point she would die for him, she couldn't. She just didn't have the guts to die yet, not for a man who couldn't show his feelings, at least not in a healthy way. All the screaming and fighting over stupid stuff or due to his crazy like behaviour only drove her insane. The fact that each time it ended up with sex was not helping, it was just proving how incompatible they actually were.

     For the past month Y/N has lived with Hawks, she hated admitting it since she had a home to go back to, but she couldn't since she didn't want Dabi to be there and she knew he would most likely be there. To be frank, he kinda moved in there, each night sleeping in her bed and taking what was left of her scent, hoping she would come back and rely on him and his love once more, at least for one more night. He thought that one more night where he could show his love would be enough for her to crawl back to him and spit those lies called declarations of love.
     The woman cried during the first nights due to frustration most likely, but she coped with the thoughts and learned how to let those from the past be consumed and never brought up again. She could easily rent a place with the salary she had, but she hated the thought of being alone and it frightened her the fact that the league could be looking for her. Besides she loved how Hawks was there every night, how he warmed her bed, actually his, and how he held her close in such a warmful and protective way. She was very much aware at this point that Hawks had caught some sort of feelings for her, but she wasn't even close to being ready to explore those things and even ask herself about how she felt, if she felt some type of way towards the hero. She avoided her problems as much as she could, not wanting to be responsible for anything, but someone had enough of it. And enough is enough.

"Kid, I want to talk to you. And this time you have to actually answer me, not avoid it by changing the subject" Hawks said as he plopped himself in his desk chair from his office

"Sure Keigo. Ask me, but hurry up, I really want to go home and have some of that chinese food left from yesterday" she said packing her things

"Tell me why you can't go back home" he said getting serious

     His golden eyes met her (e/c) ones and as he stared right through her wanting to hear what the woman had to say, she sighed, ruffling her (h/c) locks with one hand in frustration.

"I told you I can't. Isn't that enough? Why do you have to interrogate me so much?" she said pissed off

"Y/N. I want to know and you can't tell me I don't have any reasons for it. You either tell me or you can not come home tonight" he said getting up and stretching his wings

"You can't be serious.."

     As he watched her from the corner of his eye he put his hands in his pockets ready to fly off as she noticed that the woman had no real intentions of telling him.

"I'm dead serious Y/N. I'm done being your pawn in this stupid game you created" he said almost annoyed

    Before she could speak her phone rang once again for the fifth time today. The same caller id that she ignored for the past month now. Hawks looked at the phone and then at the girl raising his eyebrow.

"You should answer that. It seems important since they are calling you everyday for so many times"

"Don't worry about it"

    But before she could decline the call, Hawks snatched the phone away from her and answered the call.

"This is Y/N's phone. Who's this?" he said, but as soon as the other person heard him they hung up

    Y/N knew she was left with no choice but to tell Hawks the truth. It was time to let him know everything, after all he was the only one who accepted her for being like this.

"Fine, I will tell you everything about him" she sighed throwing herself exhausted onto the sofa

"Him?" he asked raising one brow

"Yes. Him, Dabi. I will tell you everything about my boyfriend" she said almost forgetting that they were not together anymore

     Hawks was aware that she changed since the first time she met her at the commission's office, but he didn't mind one bit. Of course she caught his eye from back then, but every change only made her closer to the person she wanted to be, and he didn't mind it at all. He loved her also and that was enough for him. Horns or no horns the devil was not born yesterday, so that only proved how much deeper she went. And in that moment, when she heard her voice cut off by the tears in her eyes and saw how frightened she was, he swore he would make her fly even if she lost her wings. He swore he would be her only source of freedom even if that meant he was going to be used.

a new chapter guys!! i am so sorry about the numerous spelling and grammar mistakes, i will try to edit this book after i finish it, maybe some of you who can write in english very well can help me out :)
