THE MORNING AFTER felt like going through  hell and back. The story Y/N told Hawks seemed to be only a fantasy to him. He didn't know how to believe anything she said. Was she a con artist? A villain? All that he knew was that last night was amazing for him and it made him feel something he never thought that he would be able to do. And he knew for sure that he was in love. Keigo Takami was indeed in love with his co-worker Y/N L/N, the girl who seemed to grow horns overnight.
   They were both sitting in silence at the coffee table in his living room. His golden eyes slowly tracing the shape of her wings that gracefully complimented her figure. They looked like they were made for her, like she was supposed to have them in the first place.

"I hate the silence Keigo"

"Hawks. It's Hawks"

   His words felt like a sharp knife twisting into a wound she didn't even know she had. He was only focusing on her new found wings, not on her or the way she felt.

"I'll be right back" he said storming off to the bedroom

   He was sure he could put an end to this if only he could check some old files of his. Maybe this was just a dream or maybe it just happened to be the most twisted situation of his life. But he didn't want to believe that she lied to him, except for the part where she said she did, about her other "new" quirk that magically appeared not too long ago. A quirk that reminded him of the scumbag he called the villain of LOV. Of Dabi.

    Speaking of Dabi, he was jolted awake on her bed waiting for the girl to come home. He waited all night until morning and he was willing to wait even longer. She never once answered her phone and neither did she text back. But he had hope. That she would eventually come home.

   Hawks rushed out with some papers and dropped them on the table making the girl puff her wings out in surprise. He looked through them, finding the certain medical one he was looking for.
"There it is!"
   As he exclaimed happily finding it, he analyzed it by putting the pieces back together. Now her story didn't seem so much of a fiction as he thought.

"I was indeed visiting the doctor you mentioned a couple years ago. Back when I was still in training. I got injured pretty badly on the field and had to do some tests. So maybe that's when he took my blood without my consent. But that would still not explain the other quirk.."

"Actually it does...the doctor was working with some villains or at least illegally with other people. So in exchange for free treatment or medicine they would give him blood. So one of those people's blood is now my quirk"

   His eyes got wider at the amount of information the girl had. But what made him even more surprised was that it was indeed possible for her to have Dabi's quirk.

"Do you happen to know any LOV members?"

"No. I am not a villain Keigo. I was just a victim of an experiment. Please don't be too harsh and cold towards me"

   Something in her voice was so hypnotizing to him that he couldn't disagree with her. He simply thought that he was indeed being too harsh and she wasn't the one to blame. He felt compelled.

"I believe you. It's alright, I know you're not lying to me. It's just...overwhelming"

    They both sat in complete silence again watching one another and thinking of what could get them out of the weird situation they were in.

"Can you put them back? I mean your wings. It would be weird to show up to the office like that"

"I can't. I can't even use them. Maybe I should tell the commission about this. After all that would be your duty as a hero"

"Maybe we should, but not today. We will let them know tomorrow"

    For the first time this morning she smiled at him somehow giving him the reassurance that everything would be okay. Even if she was not the person to know about what their future would hold.

"So...your wings are actually like mine, right? That means you can use them just like I do"

   Hawks stood up moving closer to the (h/c) headed girl. He slowly touched her wings, tracing their outline and stopping at a feather. He pulled it out, making the girl whimper a little bit at the sudden action. It quickly turned into a sharp blade.

"So they really are exactly like mine. This only makes me believe your story even more. But to be honest with you, this isn't how I pictured my DNA being inside of you" he laughed

    Y/N blushed at his remark suddenly remembering the night before that for a couple moments seemed so nonexistent to them.

"About last night..." she began "are you okay with it Keigo?"

"What do you mean if I am okay with it? I'm pretty sure I've been wanted you since your first days at work. And besides that, I'm pretty sure you've enjoyed it to the max"

   They laughed about it and recalled their memories with small yet passionate kisses they shared, making sure to mark each other so that they could remember this night and morning.
   Y/N wasn't the type of girl to sleep around. And she wasn't the one to play with people's feelings either. She knew for a fact that Dabi was in love with her and it seems like Keigo grew fond of her as well. But she couldn't help it. She felt something for both of them, feelings that were so much stronger now that she discovered these new quirks. It was like a bond she felt towards them.

"You're home doll. I've been waiting for you"
