Alexis' POV
It was an early January morning and I found myself on my laptop again.
My life basically revolved around computers and YouTube, especially the channel the Yogscast. I have been a huge fan of them ever since I was around age 12. My favorite from the family though has to be HatFilms. They are so funny and seem like very lovely people to be around.
Anyways, I was awaiting an email from Lewis Brindley, co-creator of the Yogscast, to tell me if I were to be one of the new editors for the Yogscast. This simple email would make me the happiest person alive, no joke.
While I was waiting, I decided to get ready for the day ahead, which consisted of going out to the mall with my best friend, Bailey. Bailey respected my love for YouTube, but she wasn't as big of a fan as me. I still love her though.
I put on some makeup and decided to wear some black leggings, a black HatFilms t-shirt, and red Vans. I pin my straight dirty blonde hair back and text Bailey.
A: hey you leaving soon?
B: yep just gotta warm the car up a bit
A: lol okay cya in a bit
B: cya

When Bailey gets here, she's wearing her North Face jacket, black leggings, and black Uggs. She just threw her blonde hair up in a ponytail and didn't go crazy with makeup.
As soon as I open the front door, she opens her arms out wide, runs up to me, and hugs me almost like she was trying to suffocate me.
"Hey! Ready to go?" asks Bailey.
"Yeah! Let's move!" I said.
We hop into her car and she begins to drive.
"Anything new with your life?" she asks.
"Well, I decided to send Lewis that email."
"No way! How long do you think before an answer?"
"No clue but hopefully soon. It would be an honor to work at YogTowers."
"I'm sure Lex. It would probably be a lot of fun."
"Definitely."

We walked around the mall for about 2 hours and then Bailey dropped me off. I invited her in so she could rest a little before driving all the way home.
"Hey! Let's go see if Lewis answered me!" I said enthusiastically.
Bailey followed me to my bedroom and sat on the bed with me. We looked at my emails until I saw one that was from Lewis Brindley. I absolutely freaked out and squealed like a complete psycho. Bailey was honestly extremely used to it since I get this excited about something quite frequent. We read the email only to find out that I was now an editor for the Yogscast.
