GamerGirl Chapter 6 Cuddle

Alexis' POV

We left the office later than we normally do because of the fact we were playing with Pokemon cards. The boys, mainly Chris, were obsessed with them. We just happened to lose track of time.

"Ya ready to go mates?" Alex asked. We all nodded and went to grab our shit. We all met back up in the hallway, then headed towards the parking lot.

We arrived home and I was awfully tired. I still didn't want to go to bed though. I decided to get in my pajamas and watch a movie downstairs.

I first made some popcorn and went back to the couch to sit. I made the decision to watch The Little Mermaid because I'm a huge fan of Disney. No more than 10 minutes into the movie, Alex comes downstairs.

He says, "I couldn't sleep," and shrugs. I pat the couch next to me. Alex looked as if he was going to sit next to me, but turned right before. I was disappointed at first, but then I realized he was just getting a blanket. He then came over and sat next to me.

"Popcorn?" I ask, gesturing the bowl at him. He smiles and takes a handful before shoving his popcorn-filled hand in his mouth. I sat the bowl between us because I was too lazy to bend back over to put it back on the table.

"Disney fan, eh?" Alex suddenly asks.

"Oh, yeah. Major Disney fan. I used to go there every year with my family for summer vacation. We would also visit my dad's parents while we were in Florida."

"What happened?"

"My grandparents died, Disney got too expensive for my dad, and we just stopped going all together. I'd love to go back there someday." I smirked after I said that because I was thinking of all the great memories my family and I shared there. I especially love the time I first went on the roller coaster, Expedition Everest, and nearly shit myself. That was around 10 years ago.

"That's nice. I have never been to Disney World."

"Oh, it's great, Alex! It's so much fun!" I say grabbing his firm shoulders as my eyes light up with excitement.

He laughs and grabs both my shoulders jokingly before he says, "I believe you Alexis!" and he laughs once more.

Towards the end of the movie, I began to feel sleepy. I accidentally feel asleep on Alex's shoulder, but I guess he didn't care. He was so warm and I wouldn't staying like this for a while, so I stayed there. I felt his arm wrap around my shoulders and he pulled me closer. If anyone were to walk in on us right now, they would think we were a couple, because we are straight up cuddling. I'm not complaining, but I don't want to make Alex feel like he's obligated to keep my head on him. I'm assuming he liked it considering the fact he's the one that pulled me in closer.

A couple minutes later, I felt myself being carried bridal style up the stairs. I wrapped my arms around Alex's neck as he carried me to my room. He was too sweet. I blushed when he set me down in my bed because I thought this whole evening was adorable.

I sat up and said, "Thank you Alex!"

"Ah, it's no big deal cuddling and putting to bed a very beautiful girl," he answers as we both blush.

"Oh, thanks? Haha."

We both awkwardly smile and just before Alex walks out of the room, he says, "Goodnight, Lex. Tonight was... flattering," smirking.

I lay back down onto my pillow smiling and think about what just happened. I was in shock, but also quite happy. I texted Bailey.
A: best night of my life :)
B: what happened?
A: Smith and I cuddled and then he carried me to my bed and called me beautiful :)
B: omgg that's great Lex!
A: I'll ttyl, it's like 10 P.M. here
B: byee xx
A: byee B xx

I then drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
