Alexis' POV
I woke up the next day feeling refreshed. It could've been because I was naked, but either way, I could get used to it.
Alex was next to me. The guy I decided to have sex with was drooling on his pillow. Sexy.
I sat up in my bed, wiped my eyes, and pushed my hair out of my face. I felt movement behind me and found that Alex was slightly awake.
"Good morning, gorgeous," said Alex. I found his morning voice to be very pleasing. It was very raspy and groggy which I liked.
"Well, good morning, Alex," I replied.
"What? I don't get a gorgeous back?" He looked genuinely offended, but I know he was just being sarcastic.
"Oh, I'm sorry," I leant down and kissed him, "good morning, gorgeous." I was smiling, slightly smugly, at him.
Alex sat up for another kiss, making his longer.
"I'm gonna' go make some coffee, want some?" I asked the sleepy red-head.
"Sure, I could go for some coffee."
I threw on a robe and made my way down the stairs. I didn't even bother to check my phone, so I had no clue what time it was.
"There's one of the noise makers," I heard a voice say. It sounded like Chris.
I saw him sitting on the couch with Ross.
"Good morning to you, too. I think. What time is it?" I ask the duo.
"It is 10 in the morning," answered Ross, looking at his watch.
"Did you two have coffee yet?"
They both shook their heads and Chris said, "We just got up, too. We could hardly sleep."
"Why-. You know what? Don't answer that."
After I said, down came the giant waltzing down the stairs.
I smiled at him and entered the kitchen.
I went straight to the coffee machine, turning it on. While it started up, I grabbed four mugs, and I began listening to the boys.
"Christ, mate, could you shag any louder?" It was Chris.
"I'm sorry that I can actually make my girlfriend scream," Alex retorted. He is cocky.
"Screaming at you to stop," said Chris.
I felt tensions rising, so I entered the living room again. "Does everyone want cream and sugar?"
"I'll come help ya', love."
"To answer your question, yes we do, thanks," Ross politely said.
I walked back into the kitchen with Alex right behind me.
"What was up with that? It seems like Chris has a problem," I said, concerned.
"He probably just didn't get enough sleep."
"Really? It seems like you two still have some grudges from your arguments." Alex handed me a mug to put on the coffee machine.
"I don't know, Lex. This whole thing is a shit storm," he replied angrily.
I looked at Alex, pouting. He was furiously trying to open the sugar container.
"Alex, it's okay, relax."
He was still trying, getting angrier with every attempt.
"Alex, Alex!"
The container finally snapped open, and sugar flew everywhere.
"Are you fucking kidding me?" he exclaimed. He groaned as he slid down against the cabinets and sat on the floor.
I sat on the floor with him as he began to yell, "Nothing is okay, Lex! I'm fighting with one of my best friends and it doesn't seem to be getting better! On top of that, I've been trying to make Ross feel better with the whole Bailey and her mom situation, and that's not fucking working! Everything is going to shit right now!"
"Alex."
"I don't know what-."
"Alex," I repeated a little bit louder.
"I can't fix anyth-."
"Hey!" I screamed.
Alex stopped and looked at me.
"Everyone has issues right now, okay? You're going to get through them, Chris is going to get through them, Ross is going to get through them, and even I'm going to get through them. And you know what? We all have each other to get through them with. It doesn't matter how angry Chris is at you, he's there for you. Like you said, he's one of your best friends. It doesn't matter how upset Ross is, he's going to be there for you. And you know damn well that I'm here for you. I love you so fucking much Alex, and so do the other two. Everything is going to be okay."
I leant over to Alex and began hugging him. I felt him hold me tighter than he ever has before.
He said, "I am so lucky to have you in my life, I hope you know that."
I didn't say anything. I couldn't. I kissed his cheek.
Behind him, I saw Chris and Ross staring at us. They looked distressed, too.
I worded, "I'll tell you later," to them and they nodded their heads and exited the kitchen.
"Hey, Alex?"
"Yeah?"
"Whoever's coffee that is, it's probably cold."
I felt him chuckle in my arms and he lifted his head up. He smiled at me. "You pick the best and worst times to say jokes, don't you?"
"So do you!" I yelled back, laughing.
"I guess that's why you're my favorite person."
I shook my head at him. "Clean this sugar up."
