"Your baby is- perfect" she smiled you let out a sigh of relief and felt like a weight was lifted off your soldiers. So this is what it's like to be a parent constantly worried. "Thank you so much" you thanked her and she nodded before leaving. "So how is everything" Garcia asked "Oh wow everything is great I mean Spencer he is gonna be such a good dad" you gushed "I'm so happy for you sweet cheeks" she giggled. Suddenly Spencer ran in and came up to your bed "Oh god princess are you ok is the baby ok what happened I'm-" you could tell how worried he was "Baby look at me I'm fine and our baby is ok everything is ok" you moved your hand up to his cheek. "Oh thank god" he sighed and kissed you on the forehead "I should've been here with you not on a case I'm sorry" "Baby your doing your job and I don't want you to stop I will be fine" you wanted to ease his mind. "I love you" "I love you to" you smiled and patted the spot in the hospital bed for him to come lay down next to you. "Ok I'm gonna head out and see if the team needs my genius expertise" Garcia waved before leaving. "Come on baby what did I say last time" you gave him puppy dog eyes. "And I told you there shouldn't be a next time" he looked back at you before climbing in next to you. You wrapped your arms around him and he had one arm under your head and the other over your back rubbing slow circles. "You are the love of my life" you smiled while your head was in the crook of his next. "You are the love of my life" he whispered "Get some sleep princess I won't leave" "Promise?" "Yes I promise now close those beautiful eyes of yours" he whispered. He made you feel safe and loved and that was the best feeling ever.
*Skipping ahead one month*
You were back in the hospital, "Ok so I'm gonna put this gel on your stomach and it'll be a little cold" the nurse smiled "ok" you nodded. "What do you think it's gonna be a boy or girl" Spencer asked. "It's gonna be a girl" you immediately replied "How are you so sure" "I just know" you smiled. "Ok so your baby is moving a little so one sec- anddddd it's a girl congratulations" she smiled at you. "I told you" you smirked at Spencer. "Well technically it was a 50-50% chance of you getting it right so-" "Spencer I love you but shut it" you giggled and he gave you a quick peck on the lips. "So do you guys want pictures" the nurse asked "Yes" "Alright" she smiled. You wiped the gel off you stomach before sitting back up and Spencer helped you off the exam table. Once you got home you sat on the couch and turned on the tv "Spencerrrrrr" you gave him a cheesy grin "Can we pleaseeeee get a burger and fries" you stick out your bottoms lip. "Are you sure because greasy food for the baby is-" "Honey I'm carrying our child for another 5 months and then I will have to push it out of me do you really think it's wise to tell me what to eat right now" you gave him a smile and stared at him "Burger and fries I'll get take out" he paused and got out his phone. "Thank you baby" you smiled at him before pulling him down to give you a kiss.
