We all made our way out of the great hall where Snape had just taught us how to dance for the yule ball. It was quite a sight to see Snape dance with Daphne Greengrass.
'Hey y/n. Since we're like dating and everything, will you go to the ball with me?' Blaise had forgiven me for acting weird earlier i guess. That made me happy, as i did NOT want to ruin my relationship with Blaise after only a few weeks. Stupid Draco. Blaise laces his fingers through mine and looks at me with an innocent little smile on his face. I laugh and kiss him softly on the lips.
'Of course.' He kissed me again, harder this time. My mind started spinning with what dress I was going to wear and what to do with my hair. I was never really into dances in America, but part of me felt like I needed to prove myself to this school and set even more of a good reputation. People were starting to respect me, considering i got a boyfriend so fast. Extra points for it being one of the most attractive Slytherins.
'I'll see you later love.' He squeezes my hand and lets go, walking off with Draco and Pansy.

I was about to go dress shopping with Jack, as I really don't have any girl friends. He's going to the ball with Cedric, because they're a couple now. I still don't know if I should tell him about Draco kissing me. I'd hate for anyone to find out.I love going to hogsmeade because I don't have to wear the stupid robes and uniform. I slip on a plaid skirt, white top and a green jacket, since it's a bit chilly outside.
When Jack and I arrive to the dress shop, we're overwhelmed with all the stunning dresses. They're all one of a kind, which is good, because now no girl will be wearing the same dress. I scan the racks, gravitating towards the black lacy gowns, until I find the most perfect dress. It has a low v-neck made completely from lace, and drops into a beautifully detailed material, with a large slit in the leg.
I buy it immediately and rush back to Hogwarts with Jack. His parents sent him some dress robes, so he didn't have to buy anything.

The night of the ball has finally come, and I'm finishing up getting ready in my room.
'Hurry up y/n. You wouldn't want to keep your precious boyfriend waiting..' Pansy sneered at me.
'Is that what you did to make him break up with you?'
'H-how do you know about that?'
'He told me. We're dating we tell each other everything duh.'
'Ohh so that means you told him about kissing Draco in the prefect bathroom?'
'How the hell do you- did Draco tell you?!'
'No. I saw it.' I remembered hearing the door close that night. She really saw? Damn it if she tells Blaise-
'Pansy please don't tell anyone. He leaned in first and I didn't want it to happen. Please promise me.'
'Hmmm I guess we'll have to see..' She left the room. Ah shit. She could ruin my relationship with Blaise and it's all Draco's fault.
I make my way to the common room where Draco and Pansy are already linking arms, chatting with Blaise. He turns as I walk in and his jaw drops.
'Y/n. you look amazing.' I blush and return the compliment. We all walk down to the great hall where the champions are already dancing with their partners. Blaise takes my hand.
'Can i have this dance?' We start swaying to the music and talking and laughing. Song after song goes by, but we don't even notice it because we're so lost in each other's arms.
'I'm bloody thirsty, i'll go get drinks.' He leaves me at a table, and i watch in awe as he walks away.
I sit and wait. And wait. And wait. He's been gone for about ten minutes, so I get up to go look for him. I see him gathered at a table with a bunch of other guys on the quidditch team, all passing around a flask of vodka.
'Blaise?'
He turns around sloppily and says 'Hey hey y/n. Don't you look bloody hot. Come here to rail me to death? because if so, i'm down.' all of his friends start laughing hysterically and I just roll my eyes.
'No Blaise. I came here to get you to stop drinking so much. You're gonna blackout.'
'Isn't that the point?'
'Umm no, not really.'
'Here take a sip.'
'Blaise who's gonna take care of us when we're both passed out on the floor?'
'Me of course.' He says as if it's obvious. I've drank before, and only once it ended in a blackout.
'You're an idiot Blaise. I'll still have a few sips.' I tasted the vodka, it was awful. It made me feel nice tho, so I took a few more sips.
I get it, probably not the smartest move of mine, but what's the harm in a few little drinks? and it's the Yule Ball for hell's sake. At least I didn't fuck Blaise too.
Most people were sneaking off into closets and dorm rooms with their dates. I haven't really talked about sex with Blaise yet, but im not going to do anything like that with him quite yet.
I usually let relationships pan out for at least six months before getting serious.
that kinda sounds like a long time, but it's worked well so far, and I can pick out the guys that are only in it for the lust. I'm a scorpio, meaning i strive to have deep emotional relationships or whatever. I can't stand girls who date someone just so they're not single or just for sex. like what??
We laughed and drank all night, until I was numb. I don't remember falling asleep, but I woke up to someone carrying me to my room i'm guessing. or maybe I was just floating through the corridors. I'm so out of it, so I can't even tell who it is. or if it's a dream. I just fall right back to sleep.
