The Guardian Villain ( Shigaraki x Reader)

" You did what?" Great, now I'm getting yelled at by Giri. I guess it was pretty stupid to do that.

" I wasn't going to let her get killed. If I hadn't have stepped in who knows what would have happened."

" You got seen by three UA students. The fate of the League now depends on them keeping their mouths shut. Not only that but you healed a hero." Dang he mad.

" They aren't going to rat us out. Y/n will make sure of that."

" You don't know that. They could be telling the police right now."

The dorks

" And then All Might came and sent the Nomu flying straight through the ceiling. It was like woosh." Midoriya demonstrated how the Nomu went flying with his hands.

" Wow. That's really something else. I wish I could have seen it." I'm actually glad I wasn't there but I'm not saying that to the kids.

" It was scary but we got to fight. We fought real villains with our quirks. You should have seen me. I almost landed a blow on Shi... Sorry."

" Why'd you stop?"

" Isn't he your friend? I doubt you want to hear how I nearly knocked his lights out."

" You think I haven't hit him?" I hit him in a playful manner but I'll let him think otherwise.

" Tell us how you befriended him. It's strange but I want to know." Iida requested.

" Well I guess I should start with my own villain attack. I was walking home distracted and accidentally ran into this guy. Not accepting my apology he instead attacked me. He gave me this scar." I rolled up my shirt enough to show them my scar. All of them blushed a bit at my actions. " I had lost a lot of blood and I was drifting in and out of consciousness. I don't remember much but I do remember that someone had come along and saved me. He chased the guy off and called an ambulance. He didn't leave my side till I was safe with the paramedics. I didn't learn until a lot later that that man was Shigiraki."

" No way did that villain save you." Todoroki refuses to believe it.

" I'm not done with the story. Let me finish and then you decide. Ok so after I woke up in the hospital a couple of days later Lunch Rush had explained to me that there was an attack at UA. Of course I grew worried for you kids. I may not be your teacher but I care about each and every one of you. Back to the story.

I was nervous to meet my caretaker. What if I didn't like them? What if they were strict about everything I do? What if the only reason they volunteered for the job was to look good in the eyes of the community.

When I met him he looked so nervous.  Especially when I said that his voice sounded familiar. I asked if we had met before. He lied. He said we didn't.

Well we spent the day watching tv. The only time we stopped was so he could change bandages. You should have seen his face when my alarm went off to signal that it was time to change my bandages. Apparently the sudden arrival of (alarm tone you picked) at a random time was terrifying to him."

    " I think that would scare anyone." Midoriya said.

    " Wait your wound is pretty high up on your side. Does that mean..." I cut Iida off.

    " No he hasn't seen me shirtless. I only roll it up far enough for him to tend to the bandages. He also keeps his eyes down away from that area. He's actually pretty polite." That shocked the teen boys. " Back to my story now. Soon we had established a routine. He would show up for work shortly after Lunch Rush left. Lunch Rush comes by every morning to .ale me breakfast and see how I'm doing.

    Well he would show up after he left. We would pick what we watch or play that day. I learned that he is very good at Uno. When the alarm goes off he will change my bandages after making sure at least one finger was covered so his quirk wouldn't activate. He would make me lunch around noon. When I needed to head to the bathroom he carefully helped me up and made sure I got there safely.

    Believe it or not he is a very good caretaker. One night I heard a loud noise. Something had hit the side of my house. I worked my way up and to my wheelchair to figure out what the noise was.

    I heard two voices. I recognized one as my caretaker. The other was the guy that gave me this scar. That's the night I learned the truth. Hiroyuki, that's the name he used for the caretaking job, was guarding the house. The guy who was attacking wanted to get in to finish me off.

    I listened to the fighting for a minute. The thug was angry at Hiroyuki for guarding the door. He wasn't allowed past. Eventually he asked why. Why was he protecting me after attacking the place where I worked? Was he going soft? I had also learned his true name that night.

    I ended up calling the police. I also used his phone, it was in the coffee table and I conveniently guessed his password right, to call his warp gate to get him out."

    " You gave him a means of escape?" Todoroki sounded angry.

    " Not only did he protect me but he also took care of me. If he was going to hurt me he would have by then. That was my thought process. Now stop interrupting. Ok where was I? Oh yeah. The police got there and told me that the second guy escaped but that I was lucky to be alive since the other one was known for killing everyone of his targets.

    The next day I waited for him to show up. He was running very late. I thought he wasn't going to return. He had promised that he wouldn't leave after the guy was dealt with but by the time the alarm sounded I had given up on him coming. Conveniently at that moment he showed up.

    Turns out the warp gate hadn't wanted him to come back since the guy was dealt with. He snuck out of the base just to come take care of me like he promised. He took care of me after finishing the original goal.

    He only missed one day. On that day someone else was sent to take care of me. He made sure I was taken care of. He has become a good friend of mine. One of the few friends I have.

    Not many people are willing to be friends with someone who's quirkless. Instead they make fun of us. Call us useless."

    " Worthless. Tell them they don't deserve to be here. Crush all of your dreams before you get the chance to try. Make you feel like shit each and every day." Midoriya are you ok? You're shaking with anger.

    " Outcast, pathetic, trash. I've heard it all but this stranger helped me. He protected me and became a good friend. Heck even his friends became my friends. They don't care that I'm quirkless. That's why I turn a blind eye to what he does."

    " Then why are you here? This isn't exactly turning a blind eye." You're not leaving any stone unturned are you?

    " He was trying to convince me to stay away after I was healed. He thought showing me something as big as a Nomu attack would convince me to stay away.

    After I saw your dad's flames I knew you were here. I had learned who each of you were interning under and I knew Endeavor wouldn't leave you at the hero office.

    He told me to go find you cause he knew I didn't want you to get hurt. He told me he'd follow so if a Nomu came after me he'd be able to protect me.

    I had ran along the rooftops. After going by several alleys looking for your head of hair I heard Iida. That's when I remembered that Iida was working in the city. I changed direction to get him to safety. And you know the rest."

    " So you came here knowing the villains were planning something?"

    " You make it sound bad."

    " That's because it is bad." Midoriya rested his hand on Todoroki's shoulder.

    " Calm down Todoroki. I'm sure she didn't know it would be this big of an attack. It's ok Ms. L/n. I understand." I smiled at the small green haired boy.

    " I too somewhat understand where you're coming from." Thanks Iida.

    " Let's move faster. Native is getting heavy." And so we moved faster, getting the injured people to an ambulance.
