The Guardian Villain ( Shigaraki x Reader)

My Fault

    He didn't come back yesterday. I didn't worry too much about it. I chalked it up to him not knowing when my student would be leaving. I started worrying when he didn't show up this morning.

    I woke up to the familiar smell of coffee and breakfast. Lunch Rush had to leave earlier than usual to prepare meals for the Sports Festival today. I got excited because me and Shigiraki had planned to make a big event out of this. We planned to pig out on snacks and drinks so much soda. He was supposed to show up a little earlier to paint my face to represent my favorite students.

    I had the face paint ready. Lunch Rush picked up the snacks and put them in my room. The soda was sitting on the nightstand, two foam cups already full. The channel was pulled up. I had moved over so he had room to sit on my bed. But he didn't show.

    I told myself that he was probably running a bit late. I said maybe he wanted to avoid being seen by the amount of heroes that would be passing by my place to get to UA. I knew that was false hope when Present Mic was announcing Class A.

    He'll show up any minute now. It's almost time to change my bandages. I said that after the foot race. The alarm went off and he hadn't shown. I went through the struggle of changing them myself.

    He definitely will be here soon. He wouldn't want to miss seeing the fighting. I saved him his own two liter bottle of soda and half a bowl of candy. I painted my own face so he won't have to.

    Bakugou won. Good for him but Shigiraki still hasn't shown up. I devoured half a tub of ice cream and poured some of the soda I saved him in so it would be a float. All Might is giving out medals now. He's not going to show. I have accepted that. Maybe Kurogiri kept him. Something is telling me that's not the case though. Something is telling me that this is my fault.
