Shigiraki was hugging Y/n with her in his lap. She was startled by this action. Why was he hugging her? Wasn't she just about to...

"You ok Tomura?" She asked, rubbing her hand along his back to try and make the hug less awkward.

"I'm more than ok." He whispered. He pulled away but kept his hands on her arms. "Y/n, I have something I need to tell you."

The look on his face didn't bring much comfort with those words. He looked nervous. Unknown to her he was just scared that she may take this poorly.

Her mind started creating scenarios. He was about to tell her he was dying. Maybe he was going to tell her he was leaving and not taking her. Had he found someone else and now was dating her.

"I don't know how to say this. Those idiots out there told me what to say but it all just sounds stupid."

Now she was really nervous. Everyone else already knew what it was but they hadn't bothered to tell her that morning? Just what was it?

"Come out with it then. I won't judge. I'll stay by your side no matter what it is. I promise."

"You say that now." He said. He looked down and away from her.

"Tomura Shigiraki." She held his face so he was forced to look at her and listen. "I swear that I will stay by your side and support you no matter what. I love you and nothing is going to stop me from doing so. So I will stick by your side through anything."

She didn't realize what she had just said. All she knew was that whatever she said caused him to turn red, which was very uncommon for him.

"Y-you love me?" He asked, his blush deepening.

That's when she let go of him and started blushing herself. Of course this is how she told him. She told him when she was trying to get him to tell her something important. How could she? He didn't need to worry about her feelings when something else was bothering him.

"Well that's not important right now. What did you want to tell me?" She asked, trying to get him back on track.

"Just that I loved you." He waved it away. "Say it again." He said while pulling her closer.

"Say what again?" Her blush deepened. Did he say he loves her too.

"That you love me."

"I.. I love you." She was confused.

"Again." His smile widened.

"I love you."

"One more time."

"I love you, Tomura."

Once again he hugged her. This time he wasn't holding onto her with fear for what was to come. This time he had the largest smile he has ever had. He couldn't be more happy.

"I love you too, Y/n"

Sorry for the extremely short chapter. I just didn't want to drag out this scene.

This fic is coming to an end. I may publish one or two more chapters for it but I have run out of ideas. If I don't then it will be marked as completed soon.
