The Guardian Villain ( Shigaraki x Reader)

Argument

    " Is it that time already? I feel like I just got here." Shigiraki turned off the alarm that I had set to go off an hour early. Yesterday I had Gonzoe wrap some unmedicated bandages around my side where the scar is. " Taking off the bandages now." He always announces when he is removing the bandages for some reason. I find it kind of cute. " What? You're wound is completely healed! Did something happen at the hospital yesterday?"

    He seems so excited. More excited than I was to be able to walk around on my own. He acts like it's a true miracle. Suddenly his look changed though.

    " If you are healed that means you no longer need my service. Well it's perfect timing really. I have work to do in Hosu soon so I won't have to worry about finding someone to take care of you." Why is he closing himself off all of a sudden? Maybe it's not all of a sudden. Was he putting up an act the whole time? " So I assume you'll be going back to UA soon. Working with this heroes and hero wannabes."

    " Actually I'm not. I figured you would know that but it turns out I was wrong." He flinched. This is not how I imagined the surprise would go at all. I figured he would be happy and we would celebrate, not do whatever this is.

    " Well then what are you going to do? Whatever it is will make it hard for us to be friends. I was counting on that wound for at least a little longer. It was almost healed as it was so I knew it wouldn't be long but I didn't think I would have to leave so soon." He turned to face away from me. He was upset. He turned cold to try and cover his emotions. Just like what the assassins do. The only difference is he isn't trained.

    " Again you're wrong." I grab his shoulder and turned him to face me.

    He did have tears in his eyes, just like I thought he would. I wipe away a tear that had escaped. I didn't know our friendship meant this much to him.
  
     " Before I let Recovery Girl heal.me I put a lot of thought into that specific topic. I even talked to Gonzoe about it. I don't need to work with heroes. In fact I don't really like working with them anyways. The only reason I did is because I felt like I owed it to Lunch Rush.

    I talked with him earlier today and he's ok with me quiting. In fact he expected me to anyway because of the knife incident. When I explained the whole debt thing he said I didn't owe him anything so I don't have that guilt hanging over me."

    " I don't like where this is heading."

    " Well if you know where it's heading then I don't need to continue."

    " I can't let you do this. At least with the heroes you have some form of protection."

    " I don't need protection Shigiraki. I need to see my friends. I can't lose more people. I just can't."

    " So you'd give up all of this," he gestured towards the room, " just to see a few people. That's what you're saying right now. If you get caught doing something wrong you have to go into hiding. You're house will be marked so you won't be able to return."

    " Well maybe I don't care. If it means getting to see the few people who didn't seem to care much about my quirklessness without difficulty then I don't care what I have to give up. You guys saved me and now I'm in your debt. I owe you my life Tomura. That's all there is to it."

    " Maybe I'd prefer it if you used your life for something good instead of evil." Why can't he just accept that I don't want to work with heroes?

    " Fine if that's what you want then look me in the eyes and tell me that you no longer wish to see me. If you can do that without looking away or shedding a tear I will look for a job away from villans and continue living the life of someone good." He froze. I knew he couldn't do it. Instead he glared at me and uttered five words.

    " You're making a big mistake."

     " If it is a mistake then it is one I'm willing to make."

    " Come with me to Hosu. I'll show you what you are getting yourself into. You've only seen villainous acts from the perspective you were raised to see. I'll show you them through the eyes of a villain.
