Bandage Talks

Shigiraki's POV

    This position isn't that bad. This whole time she has just been watching this show about people failing at life. The only things she asked for is a soup and a glass of water. The soup I had to cook so that was new. I had to teach myself to use this machine she had in the corner.

    Her phone went off around one. It scared the living shit out of me. She laughed at my reaction to her phone suddenly playing (favorite music.)

    " Calm down Hiroyuki. It's just time to change my bandages. Can you help me with this?" Does she even know what she's asking me to do? Her cut is under the shirt. " The only reason I'm asking is because the cut goes around my side."

    " I guess this is part of the job description. You're covered right?" She nodded and tied her shirt up so her special parts remained covered.

    Seeing the wound once the bandages were removed made me a bit queasy. It was quite a large wound and I'm surprised she lived.

    " The ointment and extra bandage is in the top drawer." Wait I have to apply ointment? As in I have to touch her?

    " Do you have a way I can cover at least one finger?" She looked confused. " My quirk activated when all of my fingers touch an object." I explained.

    " I think I have some band-aids in the bathroom. Wrap one around your finger. Or just use two fingers to rub the ointment on."

    " I'm not going to risk it." I made my way to the bathroom to find the bandages. It took a minute to figure out that they were behind the mirror. I've never seen something like that before.

    After I put a couple of band-aids on my pinky I went back into the room to see her rubbing some ointment where she could reach. It was a sad sight to see.

    " Oh you're back. I forgot to tell you where they would be. You only need to get my side and what's on my back now. That guy really messed me up." When I touched the ointment I realized that it was really cold. It was surprising. " So did you hear about the attack on UA? My coworker told me about it."

    I tensed up when she mentioned that. I lost a lot of men out there and the Nomu also got beat. Also All Might only showed up at the last minute. At least we did a lot of damage to two of their heroes.

    " I was supposed to be there but then that guy came and attacked me on my way home. Some stranger apparently called the ambulance when they found me. All I remember is him saying stay conscious. If I wasn't hurt then I definitely would've been at the USJ attack." If she knew who she was talking to she wouldn't be saying these things.

    " What makes you think you wouldn't have been able to defeat the villains? From what I've heard they were just a bunch of low level ones. The kids even took down several. From what it sounds like, you work at UA too so you must be strong." I've gotta act like I wasn't there.

    " It doesn't surprise me. Those kids are strong. I'm just a lunch lady. I'm not strong at all. If I was I could have taken that thug from the other night." I begin the process of wrapping he bandages around her torso as she talks.

    " That thug was a strong one. He escaped from the USJ without a scratch." She looked at me weird. What'd I do?

    " You know the thug?" Oh shit.
