Warm bed sheets surrounded (Y/n).

She was in her bed, her clothes warm and dry.

The curtains that sheathed her window slowly danced to the small breeze. It was midnight, she could tell by the moonlight that shone even through her curtains.

"... So I slept nearly all day."

There was a light knock at the door.

(Y/n) quickly sat up in bed. "Uh, come in!"

The door creaked open, revealing Captain Levi, who held two cups of tea in the same hand. "Hope you like tea," she said, shutting the door halfway behind him.

(Y/n) shook her head. "I don't mind tea, I love it."

He gave her a quick look before setting the cup on her bedside table. "The medic said you've caught the common cold," He spoke, clearly keeping a bit of a distance.

(Y/n) reached for her cup. "That's a shame..." She said, taking a sip. The hot tea slightly burned her lips, making her flinch.

Levi took no notice. "Hmm."

He sipped his tea. "I wanted to ask, as well, why you went after me?" His shadowed gaze questioned her.

"Oh, well, I simply don't know."

Levi raised his brow. "What kind of lame answer is that?"

(Y/n) shrugged. "Well I surely didn't have a crazy-dramatic reason. Why, did you think it was something like that?"

He scoffed. "Don't get cocky, brat."

(Y/n) smirked. "Anyway, Is... That all?" She asked the man, who stood firmly at the edge of her bed.

"No." He began. "Stay in bed for awhile, we don't need to risk an outbreak."

(Y/n) hesitantly nodded "Alright."

...

"Oh and..." She spoke before he reached the door. "Who... Changed me?" She asked, looking over to the swaying curtains.

Levi stood silent before replying. "I asked a subordinate to change you."

(Y/n) turned back to him "Ah. I see." She pulled the blanket over her shoulders as she laid back into her pillows. "Thanks for the tea."

"Of course," Levi shut the door with a click, and (Y/n) made herself comfy in the sheets.

The Tea was halfway full, and (Y/n) took one last gulp to finish it off.
The stars weren't visible, but their brightness soothed (Y/n) as she let sleep wash over her.

---

This time, rather then shivers, beads of sweat dripped off (Y/n)'s cheeks. She threw the blanket off of her, followed by the sheets.

Sitting up, she used her arms to wipe off the sweat. Her throat was a bit scratchy.

She was going to get up, but remembered Captain Levi's words. Her fingers flicked with irritation. "It won't hurt if its just to get water..."

She carefully made her way to the door, reaching for the handle. It was ice cold on her warm hands, making her arm shake slightly.

"I'll just be really careful to avoid everyone-"

While opening the door, she was greeted face-to-face with Levi. "C-captain!" She jolted backward.

"Were you... Trying to leave?" He frowned. His eyes dug into her as he waited for a reasonable reply.

"Yes..." She rubbed the back of her head with guilt. Captain Levi's face was full of caution as he reached out to her, a small platter in his hand.

"I was going to make Yeager bring you breakfast, but the brat was too busy chattering."

(Y/n) took the platter from his hand. "Thank you," she gave him a small grin. Her eyes became a bit more hazy, but she shook it off and went back to her bed. "Seriously, though," Levi crossed his arms as he stood in the doorway. "Don't leave this room unless absolutely necessary."

(Y/n) nodded. "Okay, I won't. Thanks again," she waved as he once again left the room.

The bedroom was empty. Emptier then you'd expect. As a Scout, you barely needed much personal belongings, so most rooms were barren and lonely with not much entertainment.

(Y/n) took a bite of toast that sat on the platter, stifling a sneeze. Her nose was runny, and she pulled out a tissue from a package on her desk.

"Being ill isn't a fun feeling," she complained, placing the tissue in the trash nearby.

She could hear the soft melody of birds chirping outside, she she walked over to take a peek.

She could see Scouts outside practicing hand-to-hand combat. She blinked as she recognized Captain Levi, sitting below a large tree and enjoying a cup of what seemed to be tea. He must've just arrived there after visiting.

(Y/n) felt a smile flow up her cheeks. Underneath his strong personality, he looked to be a very sweet man from afar. His hair tucked neatly under his ears, his eyes looking gently at the swaying leaves, and his hand grasping his cup with care.

With that kind of first impression, you'd be surprised to learn what he can do as, "Captain Levi Ackerman."

(Y/n) nearly jumped out of her skin when he looked up at her through the window.

Hurriedly, she waved at him with an awkward attempt at pretending she wasn't just admiring his charming features.

He clearly hesitated a moment before waving back, still staring up at her from his spot below the massive tree.

(Y/n) tip-toed back, shutting the curtain-drapes as she left his sight. A soft breath escaped her lips as she went back to her bed, sitting down and finishing up her breakfast.
