--- Three week time skip ---

(Y/n) hobbled into the courtyard, a single crutch under her arm.

Her body was still weak, too weak to go back into battle. So she was only allowed to wander around outside.

Her ribs were still secured with bandages, and they still ached with bruises, but she was well enough to get some exercise.

The garden was healthy and every bush was brightly colored green.

She limped over to it, bending down carefully to sniff the flowers that were growing beautifully.

"Aren't they intriguing?" Levi spoke from behind her. His usual spooky introduction sent a chill down her spine.

"They are," she replied, not turning to look at him. A ladybug was crawling on one of the rosy colored flowers. "Levi, come here," she smiled, grabbing his arm. He raised his eyebrow. "What is it?"

He bent down beside her as she pointed at the ladybug. "Its just a ladybug?"

"Well, yeah, but they symbolize good luck," she said, letting it crawl onto her finger. She then grabbed Levi's hand. "Here," it crawled onto his palm, and Levi watched it with interest. His eyes sparkled, and (Y/n) felt her heart skip a beat. A smile grew on her face as her hands rested beneath his, supporting them as the ladybug crawled around on his fingertips.

"Now you have good luck," she chuckled, and Levi looked at her with a gentle look. Yet his face mad it obvious he still didn't quite understand why they were good luck.

"Levi!" Erwin shouted from where he stood in the doorway. "May I speak with you for a moment?"

Levi stood from where he was crouched, letting the ladybug fly off into the air. "I'll see you later," he said goodbye while walking up to Erwin.

(Y/n) felt her eyes follow him all the way until he disappeared behind the door.

She felt her admiration for him growing by the day.

She stood up, her eyes to the sky, watching the clouds pass by.

The storm from so long ago was over now, but every time she looked toward the forest nearby, she could still feel the rain hitting her cheeks.

He had never told her nor mentioned it, but the man who had found her and carried her home that night, was no other then Levi himself.

She knew it was him who carried her all the way back, the same way he had when the titan had almost taken her life.

Why you ask? He had the same look in his eyes when he carried her to the infirmary.

She had faintly seen it the night of the storm.

A small breeze blew by, the long skirt she was wearing rustled in sync with it.

(Y/n) could feel her fingers entwine together as she thought about Levi.

"He's amazing," she spoke aloud, unbothered by what she had just said. She meant it and wasn't afraid to admit it.

Hey there! Sorry for the short chapter, and the dramaticness of it. As ive said, listening to music really gives you a weird urge to make things extreme.

Anyways, be ready for the next chapter!
