Katsuki sat at the edge of the bridge with a scowl. This is ridiculous. He is the Daemon Lord for fuck sakes! He had the most powerful of warriors at his command! He's a king! He IS what every single one of all the races feared about! He's superior...
Katsuki tried to remain inconspicuous as he walked the busy streets of Emberlia.
How long has it been since the last time he was surrounded by a huge crowd.. specifically: mortals?
Sure, he rules many towns and capitals already in his years of conquest, but he usually leaves a person he trusts as some sort of steward that will oversee and tend to their needs.
And he assigned it to Eijirou and the others to check it regularly.
Again, he didn't asked to be labeled as a king, nor did he planned to rule like that, but he also didn't wanna let those people who chose to swore their loyalty to him be abandoned and betrayed.
That would make him no different to all those bastards he overthrew.
And strangely enough, he was actually good in leading. All the places under his protection are doing better than they ever did, and people were happily contented. No one dared to attack those under his name.
But no one sees them in good light also.
All the places he'd conquered was avoided by the rest of the world. And the residents there being branded as either demon worshippers or demon possessed, for following him.
Even those that were once was a powerful and famous kingdom, suddenly became a "lair for devils and demons alike".
There are plenty of stories that runs around, stating that if you enter any one of those places that's under him, you'll be eaten alive and there's no way of getting out.
He sneered at the thought.
These fools don't fucking know anything.
Which all the more meant he's far from enjoying being surrounded by all these annoying crowds.
One look and he can tell; Ligerna was a place where people loved to show off whatever the fucking shinny things they have and flaunt it to everyone.
