The moon shines brightly in the clear night sky through the window besides his bed.

Yagi stared fondly, it's bright reflection can be seen clearly in his deep blue eyes.

For everyone else, it's plain and simple like that; a beautiful moon, shining.

But not for him.

It's message was as clear as the most perfect crystal he'd ever saw.

He clutched the necklace he was wearing tightly, with a contented smile on his face as he lay down at his pillow.

Seek the one made for your center
That shall make you weaker
Because it's meant to make you stronger

He felt those words spurred to life once again, and this time.. ever so loudly.

They have met, Inko. The two have met..

Turning his eyes to the jade pendant he's holding, he felt serene as he sighed deeply and closed his eyes as he kissed the half of a circle stone. Its full shape was of an egg split in the middle, meant for two wearers.

He kept holding it firmly. It had been a while since he felt such tranquility.

As much as it greatly pains him to see his beloved Izuku—whom he sees as a son, be treated like the way he was and to let him go on alone at such a young, young age.. Yagi knew it was for the better.

It had to be done, so it can lead to what's about to happen now.

"Finally." he whispered to himself.

He slowly opened his eyes to once again stare at the magnificent thing that's gracing and illuminating the night sky.

The message it carried gave him the strength to accept his inevitable fate and finally rest.

He silently thanked the one who had sent the news to him.

Thank you, Nana. Please watch over him for me.

This was the only thing he had been waiting and wishing for, after almost a million years in existence.

He kept his gaze outside as he begin to slowly—ever so slowly, felt his presence start to disappear.

It didn't bother him.

It didn't scare him.

He is simply.. at peace.

He only felt a little melancholy for not being able to witness personally how everything's about to unfold, but he firmly reminded himself that this was more than enough.

He'd simply just wait for how it'll end back at home.

Back at Elohora, the realm of the gods.

As he felt the last traces of him fading, he smiled at the moon once again.

I believe in them..

A knock on the door came once, then twice when no one answered for it. After a few more seconds of silence, it slowly opened.

A maid came in carrying a tray of hot broth and cups of medicine. She silently approaches the bed, then stopped.

She dropped all the contents of what she was carrying on the floor, making a loud clanging sounds of bowls hitting concrete as she hurriedly run back downstairs, alerting all the inhabitants of the manor.

"My lords! My lords!"

She kept calling loudly as she dashed her way to a large room with a group of men sitting at a long table, in the middle of a meeting. When they heard the frantic call, the all looked up and the one that serves as the prolocuter met the woman halfway with annoyance.
