The clinking sounds of nails being hammered loudly and stones being chiseled can be heard all over the enormous meadows located at the east side of the kingdom, directly behind their great walls, as people hastily reconstructs the sacred place for the festival. The smell of paints resonates in the air and servants and workers alike walk to and fro to get their respective tasks done, teeming with enthusiasm.
Although such sight and occurrences had been happening far longer than his own existence, it still never fails to surprise Keigo to witness the whole kingdom be turned into it's most glorious pace.
Granted, they have a lot of festivals for every gods and goddesses that's part of the Novellus pantheon, but the Gaelach Festival holds such a special place for the people, that no one thinks twice in making the decision for it to be the grandest one.
As soon as the advisor had settled everything from their little adventure yesterday and managed to get things back to normal to avoid any suspicions, he was instantly called to work by his fellow royal officials for the start of the preparations for the place that'll be the center of the sacred ceremony of the introduction of the Prime Archangel.
He had just finished checking from the head priests the information about all the races of angels that had already confirmed to attend and the resident senile prophets had given the envisioned amount of spectators that they should be expecting, when his appearance and guidance was requested to the main location.
Yes, despite the seraph's nonchalant and carefree demeanor, he had been doing his job properly with utmost diligence and was in fact, already halfway done to all the necessary tasks that he was expected to do this week.
Now, Keigo stands in the middle of the vast open lea, that's currently being surrounded by endless of restorations and reconstructions —rebuilding and replenishing the huge stone platform right in the center of the wide open space, which where the gold throne will be situated and the anointing will happen.
This whole venue was already there for as long as anyone can remember.
It was a special gathering place that was solely created for occasions like this, and was said to be the cornucopia of the sacred and holy events that took place ever since time.
Some said that the first pantheons had even used it as the place to gather, and some books and manuscripts had claimed that this was indeed, where the second Prime had been anointed too.
The whole setting was made so grand that you'd mistake it as a rare colessium, situated in the hills and meadows.
Twelve man-sized pillars stands prominently lined up behind the platform, carrying the golden statues of all the current gods and goddesses —which will be very, very necessary, as for the first time in almost a millennia, they have been all confirmed to grace the kingdom with their presence. (A huge undeserved kindness and honour for everyone.. but quite a darn pressure, if you'll ask Keigo.)
They had no way of confirming whether the gods and goddesses will decide to actually show their faces, or just send out signs that their presences were nearby in the first place, but still, the fact that all the prophets confirmed a positive response from almost all of them —even the Head God, is.. well, shocking.
And that can't be good, to be honest.
Well, it couldn't be helped I guess?
After all, this prophecy had been long overdue. It will only be the third time a Prime would emerge from their kind since they were created.
The very first ever Prime Archangel was Michael, and only a millennia had passed before the next one, Gabriel was introduced. Both of these Primes had made and earned such great divine reputations and powers for themselves and for the world that their names had been engraved forever on history.
