" We have kingdom issues that need sorting. Son, you're the king now " Beast said trying to keep up with Ben who was walking quite fast

Ben stopped and turned around

" If mom had left, you would try and find her! My girlfriend ran away. She is only sixteen. I need to find her before something bad happens to her "

Beast put his hand on Ben's shoulder

" I understand but we need a king. You can send the guards after her " Beast argued

" Dad, I need her to know I still care. I screwed up and I need to be there to find her " Ben looked down

" Ben- "

" Just give me one day and if I don't find her today. I will go back to my responsibilities tomorrow " Ben interrupted

" Okay fine. You have one day " Beast said

" Thank you " Ben said before running off to find the others

Mal's phone was blowing up. Ben had only called her about 150 times and sent over 300 texts. Evie, Jay and Carlos had tried to reach her too. She couldn't answer them. She had made her decision and she intended to stick to it. Mal was going to make a new life for herself. Nobody would know her as Maleficent's daughter. She would finally have a chance to do what she wanted instead of preparing to be queen and basically a housewife. Mal blocked her friends and Ben. She felt bad but it was the only way she could avoid them finding her.

She knew it would only be a matter of time before they would come looking for her. She refused to go back there. Fortunately she was lucky and she happened to meet someone along the way who offered her a place to stay until she could afford her own place. She had a home hundreds of miles away from Auradon which was perfect for her. This made it less likely that Ben's guards would find her. She also would have to change how she looked, unfortunately for her the purple hair would make her stand out. She dyed her hair blonde and added some purple to it so she could stay true to herself in some way.

If she would live an ordinary life than she would learn how to live without magic. On a positive note Ben had been making her do that before she left.

The start of her new life would begin now. She would leave Auradon and her past behind her! She looked in the mirror she was no longer the old Mal, she was a new version of herself

" One day? " Evie asked

" Unfortunately " Ben sighed

" We have one day to check a whole kingdom and potentially the isle and there may be a chance, she may have left the United States of Auradon all together " Carlos scoffed

" Impossible " Jay added

" My guards will assist us and from tomorrow I will be unable to continue due to my 'king' duties. I hope you will be able to continue without me " Ben said

" What about asking Lonnie to join us? She knows Auradon well and it's kind of pointless with us three trying to find her in a place we are unfamiliar with " Jay asked

" Or you want Lonnie to come because you like her " Carlos teased

" Ooh " Evie added

" No! No, I want to find our sister " Jay said

" Sure, sure " Evie said " Anyways what are we waiting for. The sooner we leave the more time we have with Ben to search for her "

As they were chatting Mal was already miles and miles away from them. They had no chance in catching up with her. They only had hope that they would end up spotting her on their journey...
