Mal stood by her locker. She had been avoiding Ben all day and boy was it difficult since he's in almost all her classes.

" Well, well, well, look who it is? " a familiar perky voice said

" What do you want, Audrey? " Mal snapped, she really wasn't in the mood to deal with Audrey.

" Oh I'm here for a bit of personal enjoyment!! I've heard Ben blew you off " Audrey smiled

" Who told you that? "

" Oh honey, the whole school is talking about it "

Mal sighed

" I can't say I'm surprised, I saw it coming "

" Are you done? " Mal snapped

" Almost! It's funny how history repeats itself. It's the least you deserve after how you treated me. You stole my boyfriend. You ripped my future with Ben away from me. Something I had been working on for my whole life "

" Anything else? "

" It's only a matter of time before he breaks up with you. Believe me, you're ready. You know I'm right. You know he would never want to be with a villain like you. Do you really believe that the son of pure true love and the daughter of an evil heartless fairy would find happily ever after together? It's impossible but if he were to find love with a princess, it would make sense, right? " Audrey rambled on

" Mal!! Please we need to talk " Ben called out

" I've got to go. It was nice speaking to you Audrey " She rolled her eyes and ran past Ben in the opposite direction

Ben leaned against her locker.

" What were you talking about? " Ben asked confused, his current girl friend and his ex didn't like each other at all.

" Oh you know just girl stuff" She shrugged her shoulders and skipped along down the hallway.

Mal returned to her dorm. It was empty, Evie was on a date with Doug. Mal sighed.
She sat against the door and was thinking about everything that had happened. She had had enough. She couldn't take it any longer.

" Ben doesn't love you "

" You're just a pity date "

" Why would he make a villain a queen "

" A villain and a hero can never be together "

" Ben, when are you going to be reasonable and break up with her "

Mal stared at the wall.

Auradon didn't need her. Ben was about to break up with her. He showed her that he didn't really love her. Her friends would be okay without her. This was Mal's one chance to do what was best for everyone and remove herself from the picture.

This was Mal's opportunity to leave and start a new life. No more stress to be a royal girlfriend. No need to be the perfect person to, her friends expect her to be. Maybe she could finally feel free.

Nobody was around right now. Nobody could stop her if she left now.

She grabbed her pen and wrote some notes. She wanted to leave but she couldn't leave without saying goodbye. She put the letters in some envelopes. She used her magic to gather all the stuff she needed and she made a run for it.....
