//Hi lol. It's me. I want to put a little disclaimer here and remind you that I know nothing about streaming lmao. I don't stream, I only watch mcyts KHGFKJHGFD. So if I used any wrong terms or anything else like that, pardon me. Also sorry for the boring chapter. We go big in the next one <3)//
I press END STREAM and take my headphones off. A stupid smile grows bigger and bigger on my face, while my heart tries to settle down and find an even beat. I can't even believe this was real. In front of me, my pc is still running Minecraft. I lay back in my chair and rewind what just happened.
It started off as a normal stream, with me and my loyal 50 viewers who are always there whenever I press the START STREAMING button. I could tell each and everyone's username blindfolded, that's how loyal they are and how much I love them. Suddenly, I took a glare at my chat and saw a couple messages that caught my eye. "OMG LOOK AT THE VIEWERS" "Y/n SUPPORT" "POGCHAMP Y/n" "Y/n MADE IT". What the actual heck.
I peak at the viewer count and my heart skips a beat. 75 people. I bring the microphone closer to me and stop the mumbling I've been doing for the past hour to entertain my viewers, raising my voice tone and getting hyper.
'Guys? Guys what's happening? 75 people? Welcome! Welcome, everybody! I don't even what just happened, I have no idea how you got here, but you're all welcome!'
My mood suddenly raised, and I started trying to speedrun the Bed Wars game I was in. Killing one person after another, suddenly realizing that all the pvp practice I've done in the past month was finally showing results. Then, a Twitch alarm goes off.
I quickly look at the other monitor, my eyes growing wider as I read what just popped on my screen. "Chrissy donated 40 $. Hi Y/n! I'm a new viewer. Could you tell us some stuff about you?"
'Oh my God! Chrissy, thanks so much for the 40 $! Really! I don't think I've ever gotten such a big donation! Thanks so much! Uhh...I...yeah sure I can tell you some stuff about me. Gosh where do I even start? Uhh... I'm Y/n, or Y/nTheEgg. I'm 19, and I live in Brighton. I've been streaming for a year now, and I'm in love with it. Yikes that sounded so cheesy ew. Moving on. I usually stream Minecraft, but I sometimes I play The Sims 4 and other popular stuff. I think...I guess that's all I can say...that's it. Thanks again for the 40 $, it's crazy."
The stream went on, with my viewers continuously raising, reaching the peak at 100. I got three new subs, summing up a total of 13. It was honestly insane. I didn't even know how they got here, or what did they enjoy so much about me. But they managed to find something. And I couldn't even be more thankful.
I pick up my phone from the desk, and go on Twitter. I have to thank them somehow. I have to show them how much this actually means to me. I started typing in a message, but kept deleting it and starting over. Who would've thought a thank you tweet would be so goddamn hard to write.
After 5 minutes, I had it ready. "Hey y'all! I just ended today's stream. I can't even believe this was real. I want to thank all of you, like go and DM every person who decided to watch this stream, but I feel like a general message would be more effective. Thank you. Thank you so much for being here. I can't express how much you all mean to me. You really didn't have to waste money on me, but I want to thank you anyways. I'm speechless. Again, thank you for being awesome. -Egg."
I turn off my phone and leave my desk. This is all crazy.
