//Well well well, did I just spend two hours writing the fourth part and the I couldn't wait to post it? Yup. So, I guess this is my late Christmas gift. Enjoy it. Next part will probably be up tomorrow, since I did my duty with this one part. I tried to make it over 1000 words, so I really hope you enjoy it!//
It was a few hours after, when the sun has already set. That's what I don't like about the month of February. It just gets so goddamn dark outside, and that happens so early, that you get depressed, and lose motivation for doing anything.
I was getting ready to start a new stream, while my adrenaline level was raising more and more and more. It's that feeling that you get before you click START STREAMING, that I can't really explain. I've been doing this for a year now, and the feeling hasn't faded away even a tiny little bit. Sometimes I wonder if all those big streamers still get the same feeling.
The stream started off with more viewers than usual, reaching the number of 75 in less than 15 minutes. It was impressive. The more shocking part though, was the fact that they kept growing. It was a Just Chatting stream, and I know that those ones don't do so well usually. In 30 minutes I had 90 viewers, in 45 I had 100, and it kept going. When I reached one hour of stream, I had a total of 112 viewers and 2 new subs. It was the biggest number I've ever reached, and I was on the verge of crying.
I got a donation from some dude called Alex, who gave me 12 £, and that was the biggest thing that happened during that stream.
Until, an alarm goes off again. It was the donation alarm. I smile a little, and look at the second monitor. I read the message. And I read it again, and again, and again, until it goes away and I can't do anything but react in some way.
Dream donated 30 $
nice stream :]
I don't really know how to react, because I don't even know if...no...that's impossible. There's no way. It's definitely a random person who picked that name when they donated. There's no way this has something to do with what happened last night. It's just my sickened brain after spending half of my life reading Wattpad fan fictions. I inhale, trying to convince myself of what I just said, and I look at the camera.
'Uh...I'm sure you're not that Dream we all know about, so I'll just say thanks for the 30 dollars! I really appreciate it! It means a lot to me.'
I see my chat going insane, spamming messages like "OH MY GOD ITS DREAM" or "IS THERE ANYTHING WE DONT KNOW ABOUT" or "Y/NWASTAKEN', but I just snort out a laugh. 'Chat, relax, there's no way it's the actual Dream, let's move on.'
I look away from the second monitor and back into the main one, trying to rearrange my messy curls, under the headphones. I take a reassuring last glance at the chat, and I see a verified badge in there. It goes by too fast to see the username or the message, but the following messages give me a brief idea of who it could be. "DREAM!" "OH MY GOD ITS DREAM I KNEW IT" "FUCK ITS DREAM YALL HIDE".
I'm probably looking so confused right now, I don't even know what to do. Is it Dream? I scroll a few messages in the past and I find it.
---DREAM'S POV---
I see her trying to scroll her way to my message, and I notice her eyes growing the size of a tennis ball when she finds it. She looks into the camera for a second, and I can't help but notice that she has pretty eyes. They were somehow...shiny. Like they had glitter inside. But it was probably just her lights.
'Oh my god. What is this? D-Dream?' A small wheeze starts leaving my lungs but stops in the second she pronounces my name. I stop at look back at her. She's looking right into the camera, and it looks like we're doing some kind of eye contact. That's weird.
I type in a new message. "why were you so sure it wasn't me?". I see her spotting the badge again and grabbing the dear life out of her mouse in order to find it again before the chat wakes up. Her eyes get wide again, and she starts blushing.
'N-no I...I wasn't...I mean...' I can't help but laugh. She's really awkward. But not in a bad way. She's...okay. She keeps on going redder and redder and for a second I'm afraid I might've caused her some kind of panic attack, until she loses it completely. 'OH MY GOD what do you mean? Like- I just reached 112 viewers and you're asking why I'm- fucking hell. I gotta drink water.'
I start wheezing for real this time. She really panicked. I look at her viewers count and see that she just hit 200. I guess that's what happens when I appear somewhere. She leaves her desk as well as the frame, and now it's just me reading her chat. Small donations like 2 or 3 bucks are coming regularly, saying stuff like "are you guys friends?" "I think they're dating or sum" "am i missing something?". I keep watching the stream, even though it's time for me stop saying anything at all.
---YOUR POV---
I come back in the frame, feeling a little dazed. I have no idea what just happened. Dream just donated me and commented in my chat, right? I sit back into the chair, and I look at the donations I got while being gone.
'Thanks so much uhh...Alex, Chrissy -oh hi Chrissy it's nice to see you again!, Anna, Sparklebb and puffy for the donations! Thanks a lot!'
I also look at the viewers count, and I feel like passing away.
"OH MY GOD! 200 VIEWERS?! GUYS THAT'S INSANE! WELCOME TO EVERYONE WHO'S NEW!"
I sit back, and I realize that it probably wasn't me who gathered 100 more viewers, but Dream. His simple presence attracted the viewers I guess. Should I uhh...thank him? Like should I say thanks Dream for being a sugar daddy and giving me the total viewers I'd normally get in a month? No. I won't do that. He literally texted me to say that he accidentally liked my tweet and I shouldn't freak out because he never wanted to do that. Would it have been such a tragedy if he just kept the like and didn't say anything? Or just unlike it immediately?
I realize it's been an hour and a half of stream, and I'm starting to get tired. So I thank my viewers for everything, wish them a very good day/evening and close the stream, so I can try to comprehend what the heck just happened.
I should probably write a new tweet for the people, considering the fact that I just doubled my viewers count. So I take my phone out, and go on the cursed app, with the thought to just write the tweet, post it and then leave. But, one thing distracts me. The red dot above the DM icon, showing the presence of a new message.
