Surprise shawty, I'm back! I have some drafts saved so I'll be hopefully more active. Im very sorry for the inactivity, and I wanna start off by thanking the new supporters. I got so many notifications of people commenting, adding my book to their reading lists and so much more. Yall mean the world to me. The few past months were rough on my mental health, and I took a break from writing, in order to keep the fic in a happy mood and not reflect my troubles onto the storyline. I've been working on myself, and now it's better! I also got a holiday so good news: I will be a lot more active now! Thanks so much for being patient! Ily! enjoy the new chapter mwah mwah! (around 2500 words, big ass chapter)

I look at him. Driving, his hand holding mine, looking more handsome than ever.

'Common Clay we've been driving for about two hours already. Where are we even going.' He groans annoyed and then cackles at me. 'God you're so impatient, Y/n. Just wait! We have like 15 minutes left, for the love of God.' I chuckle at his annoyance, and turn up the music even louder, both of us vibing.

(a/n: to feel the actual vibe that I wanted to portrait here, listen to this song while reading :)

After a while, the song Summer by Calvin Harris comes on. It's been my favorite song for about 6 years now, and anytime I hear it my heart just goes crazy. I look at him and yell. 'OH GOD I LOVE THIS SONG!' Dream, smiles, and opens the top window. I stand up, and go through it, standing now against the roof of the car, just as Calvin says 'summer' and the beat drops. I start screaming in joy, as I look around. The East-American coast was shining in the burning sunlight, as the ocean waves hit the edge of the cliff we were driving on. I raise my hands, my hair flicking in the wind, as the song was banging in the background. I feel alive.

I get down for a moment, just to look Clay in the eyes. He takes his eyes off the road for just a second, to smile at me.

Over the chaotic beats of the music, I take a deep breath. 'I LOVE YOU CLAY!' His eyes widen, as I see his cheeks gain a shy flushed look. 'I LOVE YOU MORE Y/N.' I start laughing in joy, as I realize how much I actually love him. I love him. I truly do.

Finally, he stops the car, and gets out. I follow him, as I look around, trying to figure out where we are. My breath hitches as I see what's surrounding us, causing me to remain unable of speaking.

A rocky beach, around 4 feet under the edge of the highway was standing proudly in front of us, soft waves hitting the sharp tall rocks that were placed in random placed on the beachband in the water. I look at Clay, who has a proud grin stuck on his face.
'So? What do we think?' I smile at him, trying to find the proper words. 'I- this is amazing, Clay. But that doesn't mean you're not insane.'

He finches, looking at me with a questioning look. 'I want to swim, you massive dumbass. I don't have any swimming suits.' I see him starting to sketch a grin, but I cut him off before he even starts the sentence. 'And I don't wanna go skinny dipping' He scoffs. 'Goddamit.' I laugh at him and punch him playfully.

'Lucky you with a mature man like me, who takes care of everything.' I frown at him. He doesn't say anything else, and heads towards the trunk of the car. He opens it, and pulls out a 'patagonia' bag out of it. (a/n here you can see that u googled 'women's swimwear brand usa' and picked the first brand that i found. deal with it.)

My confusion grows bigger and bigger, as he hands it to me. 'Surprise.' He says, before I open it, just to spot two swimsuits folded nicely. I look up at him, slowly understanding what's happening. 'You really bought me two swimsuits.' He nods happily, like a puppy. 'simp.' His smile goes away, and a wheeze pops out of his lungs. 'Shut the fuck up, you unthankful bitch.'
