Edward had invited Warwick and George for Christmas once the family had been resettled in the palace. Elizabeth and Jacquetta watched in horror as they arrived. But then Elizabeth formed a plan in hope that with them being close the curse would do it's work. Edward greeted his cousin and brother, welcoming them back to court. He walked through the halls and to the children nursery. His daughters were giggling and playing games. When the noticed their father they curtsied in respect.

"Hope, come here." he crouched down as the eldest twin skipped over to him. "I have some good news for you. From this day forth I will be taking you twice a week to teach you."

"Teach me what, Papa?" she wonder flicking her hair back

"Everything, I think you will need to know. Now your sisters won't have the same thing but I'm sure you will be able to tell them all out it. Now what do you say?"

"Thank you, Papa." she cursed once again. Edward picked her up and turned to his other girls.

"Now listen, just because your sister will learn different things doesn't not mean that i love you an different. Now go play." They curtsied to him and Edward took Hope to his office. Since she was still young she would observe him for now, making comments here or there. Hope sat playing with her favourite doll occasionally paying attention to her father when she was either spoken to or bored. Some time later Elizabeth entered she was not surprised to see her Eldest daughter sitting across from her father in her own little world.

"More land for the traitors? I wonder how it does not make you sick. How long has Hope been here?" she questioned pouring herself a goblet of wine.

"This is what it means to be King. I give out wealth and favours or they may wish that good old Henry was back on the throne. Hope has been here for almost a hour maybe more. She is content before you chide me, aren't you sweetheart." Hope didn't answer as she was too concentrate with her playing

"See, besides they might wish worse in his son, Edward or my brother. God forbid Margret Beauforts son Henry Tudor. Let's have Lancaster back!" he grumbled

"She surely she cannot hope for him. There are two many others in line before him." Elizabeth replied. Warwick entered Edwards office and the two noticed

"Hope, my darling come here." Elizabeth called to her daughter who snapped out of her daze and joined her mother who put a protective arm around her.

"Ah, Warwick, there you are I have something for you." Edward stated. Warwick bowed slightly

"Your Highness." he addressed Hope who was then clutched more into her mothers embrace. Edward made some signatures and handed the papers over to his cousin. With the other had Elizabeth clutched tightly to the charm which held the curse.

"So how are, our newlyweds?" Edward wondered "Is your daughter mad with love for my troublesome brother George?" Warwick chuckled

"They give thanks to God that blessed them with a child so soon. I have hopes it may be a boy." Warwick answered

"We all pray for sons"

"Come, Hope." Elizabeth guided her daughter out and away from the men taking her back to be with her sisters then went to ask her mother for help. She needed, wanted a son. and if the thread was right, she would have one.

Hope, Elizabeth, Mary and Cecily all sat on their mothers bed giggling with one another as her mother laid happily knowing that she was once again with child. When she was called away, there was another uprising that Edward had to crush.

Prayers were made from all sides for both Edwards down fall and Edwards safety. Safety won and a plot to kill him was thwarted. Elizabeth was elated to hear the news but still somewhat unsure when she also learned that Edward would not return straight away but chase after Warwick and George. Jacquetta was playing with the twins when Elizabeth blew in.

"Warwick and George are sailing for Calias. They will bring the English garrison against us. Anthony has ridden to try and stop them but he may not get there in time, we must act mother." she demanded

"Elizabeth."

"They killed your husband and your son. And they have gone unpunished." Elizabeth seethed then went to look out of the window, she opened it hearing the winds strong but not enough then turned back to her mother and daughters. She grabbed a bowl and a jug of water pouring it into the bowl. Jacuqecta kissed her granddaughter's heads as Elizabeth removed the charm. from around her neck and began swinging it around the bowl. she she then whistled Jacquetta, Hope and Elizabeth copied their mother and grandmother. The winds outside began to pick up creating a storm.

Everyone was affected by the storm, the Nevilles who attempted to cross to France. Margret Beafaort and her husband who were riding to retrieve Henry Tudor. Hope, clung to her mother and Little Lizzie clung to her grandmother as the two older women watched the storm take hold.

"This is too much Elizabeth . Once the magic is out, it cannot take it back and it can turn round and drown us all." Elizabeth ignored her mother and walked away with Hope and put her to bed.

When morning rolled around the storm had eased after causing so much trouble. Elizabeth sat listening to the birds chirping from the window. Jacquetta closed it as the silence remained . Later that day Edward returned to the happiness his wife and family
