So we are now into the White Princess and I'm so excited to expand Hope as a character. My aim is to not make her completely like Elizabeth and I hope (No pun intended) that I've already started to do that with the older version of Hope in the White Queen. So enough with the chatting lets get on into the story!

-Hope-

I stood looking my reflection in the water, I knew that in the coming days I would be a changed person a woman with a future husband. Which I had still yet to know, I had seen nothing, heard nothing since Lizzie and I had returned to Gafton to be with my mother. My mother highly thought that Henry Tudor would win against my Uncle but that had yet to be proven. It was then I heard the thundering hooves of horses. I looked up to a large gap in the tall hedge of leaves. Soldiers. I took off running back to the house and inside.

"Mother!" I yelled "Mother, soldiers are coming!" I warned her Lizzie came out of our room and joined me in our mothers room.

"I thought we would have longer." she replied running to look out of her window.

"It is the Tudors then?" Lizzie questioned taking my arm

"Or what passes for his army. Is the Rider here for Perkin?" Mother confirmed and asked in one breath looking towards out brother Richard.

"There's no time." I replied

"Quickly now, Richard, as we planned. You must hide." she shoed him out of the room

"And us mother?" I wondered but she did not care to answer. I looked at Lizzie then down at my little sisters "Girls come with me. Lizzie grab my dagger." I guided them out

"To where though?" Cecily questioned

"Now!" I ordered taking them downstairs to an alcove that could fit all of us. Lizzie handed me my dagger and we closed the curtain. "Okay I need you to stay behind Lizzie and me alright." I tried to smile reassuringly. It wasn't long before we heard baking on the door and then they entered our dining hall.

"I can smell the women" one of the soldiers spoke in French. They noticed where I was

"Get back from us!" I ordered but the advanced. "Get back." One of the grabbed me and I fought back. I took out my dagger and managed to turn the large guy around holding it to his throat.

"Stand back or he dies." I threatened for for good measure I cut his neck slightly causing him to scream in pain. "I am Princess Hope of York and betrothed to Henry Tudor, he will kill you if you lay a hand on us."

"King Henry sent us here to fetch you back to London." William Stanley arrived with his brother.

"By the hair if need be. Let him go."

"My Lord, greetings. Tell them to step back first, and don't try me. I'm the Princess that fights back." he called them back and I let the soldier go.
