Lin POV

slight smut :)

It's later than I expect by the time I get back to Pippa's apartment. I carry her into her room, and place her on the bed. As soon as I get her comfortable, I lay with her on her bed, pulling a throw blanket over both of us.

I hope Pippa doesn't mind me staying with her again, but I wouldn't want to leave her alone like this. I think to myself. Pippa's arms wrap around me, pulling me closer to her. I give her a kiss on her forehead and relax. Tonight was more stressful than I had anticipated.

Pippa POV

Saturday; 7:27 AM

I wake up with the worst migraine ever. I feel terrible, sick almost. Then it hits me. Yesterday, after rehearsals I went to the bar and got incredibly drunk. Since when did I drink?

I blink a few times and realize there's a body next to me. I immediately think of the worst possible situations. Did I really get that drunk? Did I sleep with a random guy from the bar?  I do faintly remember kissing an unfamiliar face..

I jolt upright, sweating profusely. I take deep breaths, in and out.

In and out.

In and out.

"Woah, Pips, what's wrong?" A very familiar voice says from beside me. The voice is groggy, I clearly just woke the person up.

"Lin?? Jesus christ! I thought you were some guy from the bar!" I hit his shoulder lightly. "Don't scare me like that!" I laugh, even though I know it's not his fault.

"What do you mean, 'don't scare you like that'? I'm not the one who got drunk with six shots of vodka," He stifles a laugh. His arms pull me back down on the bed, hugging me to provide comfort.

I try to remember the events of yesterday, but I'm too hungover to remember most of it. One of them, in particular, causes a few hot tears to roll down my cheeks.

"Pippa-," Lin starts, his voice filled with question. He sits upright, staring down at me, his dark eyes full of growing concern. "Is everything ok?"

"No. I just remembered that I have to go back home for my dad's funeral." I get up from the bed, not wanting to talk about it anymore. I walk over to my window and open the sheer, white curtains. Sunlight fills the room, and I watch the sun come up from behind the tall buildings.

Lin also gets up from the bed, putting an arm around my waist. I missed that, more than I wanted to admit. He looks at me, and I blush a light pink.

"Aw, do you get nervous when I do that? How cute." This makes me blush even harder, and Lin just smiles.

"No...it does not," I blatantly lie. Lin gives me a look and I say, "Fine. Yes, it does."

He laughs and pulls me closer to him.

"You're really beautiful, you know."

Lin gently slides a few loose strands of hair away from my face and tucks them behind my ears. He takes my hand in his and he strokes my jawline with the tip of my finger. He brings his face close enough to mine, just so our noses touch. We both giggle and I turn my head slightly away from him, just as he leans in to kiss me.

"Kidding!" I laugh as he gives me a sad look. Before he can smile, I take his face in my hands, and kiss him.

We quickly break away from each other for air. "We can do this now if you'd like."
