Tendou x Reader

Summer Boredom

  Tendou POV

   I find Ushijima sitting on his phone at the entrance looking at his phone. 

   "Ushijima! Guess what!" I say cheerily, grabbing his shoulder. 

   "What." he replies, looking up from his phone. His face showing no emotion. 

   "I met a girl" I say, if you looked hard enough you could probably see the flowers floating around my head. 

   "Was it that girl you kept looking at during lunch?" He says standing up. 

   "Yeah it was! I didn't think I was being that obvious thought." I say frowning.

   "The whole amusement park probably could tell you were into her Tendou." Ushijima says as he starts to walk out of the park. 

   "Meanie" I whisper under my breath.

(Y/N) POV

   When I get back, Noya is feeling better so we start to make our way to the bus stop a few streets away. For a few hours Tendou was pushing out of my mind but once I was alone again the memory of his smile came creeping back. 

   I crash onto my bed when I get home and check my phone, a message from Yachi to the group chat I had with her and Kiyoko. She must really want all the details about today. The rest of the night I spend on a call with the girls having them ring me dry of everything that happened. Kiyoko kept telling me that he definitely liked me back but I wasn't so sure, and either way i would be to scared to do anything about it. 

   I fall asleep with the heat of the summer hugging me like a blanket and thinking about when I'll see Tendou next. 

No one's POV

   You wake up sweating, it was already noon and the sun was filling your room with light. You check your phone and see that Terushima had sent you a message. 

Piss Baby:

So is he your bf?

You:

Who?

Piss Baby:

Tendou Satori, I saw you two holding hands yesterday after the ride and I just wanted to know

You:

No we aren't dating

Piss Baby:

Oh ok, I was just checking cause I would be hurt if you started dating someone and didn't tell your bsf :(

You:

Bro ofc I'd tell you, don't worry you're my go to hoe

Piss Baby:

As I should be

   You close the chat, for a second there you thought the Terushima was going to be immature about it and get jealous, maybe he's getting over you finally. You hate that he's clinging on even though there are so many people out there that would be better for him. 

(Y/N) POV

   The next few days I just lounge around the house, appreciating the peace and quite of no school. On the itinerary that Suga gave us, it said that we would be going to the beach a 4 days after the amusement park. That leaves me 1 day to get ready for that. I call up Yachi since I'm bored out of my mind. 

   "Hey girl, I've got a question" I say when she picks up.

   "Yeah sure what's up?" She asks. 

   "Are you going to the beach tomorrow, Kiyoko said she won't go without you I don't wanna go alone" I state. 

   "Of course I'm going, and I'll let Kiyoko know. I wouldn't miss going to the beach with everyone, especially Yamaguchi." She says, mumbling out the last part. 

   "Speak up Yachi, you gotta be proud of your little crush on Yams" I say, chuckling at her embarrassment. "Everyone's got a crush and Yams is a pretty good choice given the options. At least he's in your year AND goes to your school to you've got a shot."

     Yachi nods her head in agreement. "Yeah but he's always around Tsukki so he's kinda hard to approach."

   "Well then use the beach as an opportunity to talk to him, I'm sure Tsukki won't be going, and that's a good thing too cause the ocean doesn't need anymore salt. But just ask him if he wants to go swimming, I'm sure he'll go with you." I say releasing my advice on her. 

   "Thanks (Y/N) that's actually a good plan" Yachi says, I hear a yell from her end of the phone. "Crap my moms calling me, talk to you later ok?" 

   "Mhm for sure, bye!" I say before hanging up. 

   I had been over to Yachi's house before and her mom seemed nice but I was still terrified of her.  The rest of the day I pack for the beach and watch anime.
