Two weeks Later

It has been two weeks since our winter getaway and I am happy. Satoni has been taking me out to dinner and sending me flowers. He has taken me to a few places so that I could look at dance studios and I feel more like myself. I hate that I had to leave Seattle but it seems that things are looking up for me. Even though Satoni was a jerk at first, he finally started to understand me. We have been taking things slow and I love it. I have a month until my wedding and it still feels unreal. I haven't decided on anything for the wedding. I need to think of food, colors, the cake, but most of all my dress. I still couldn't believe that I was getting married but it was happening. Satoni told me that he wouldn't try to change my life and he hasn't. He has allowed me to live alone and having the space away from him has made me start to care about him. "So, what do you think? Will this be the dress that you choose, Mrs. Romano?"

I cleared my throat and gulped. I was a little surprised by the name. I wasn't expecting to be addressed as Romano just yet.

She frowned, "are you okay? Should I get you some water?"

I shook my head quickly, "no I'm fine. Thank you...but I was wondering. Could you call me Ms. Vintalli?"

She smiled weakly, "well, Mr. Romano advised us to address you as Mrs. Romano. I wouldn't want to disrespect him."

"I see, well that's fine." I was a little irritated that he would tell people to address me as Romano. We weren't married yet and I wanted to hang on to my name as long as possible. The doors opened and Kari ran in. She gasped loudly and walked around me in a circle slowly.
