Vain gave me three million dollars to start fresh in Seattle Washington. He helped me pick out the perfect two-story house. I love it and it is very cozy.

My brother and Vain helped me move my furniture in and I'm all set. It has been a long and busy week. By the time the week ended I was exhausted. My brother went back to New York for Mafia business and Vain decided to stick around to make sure I was okay. I got a new phone and a new number. I texted Kari and told her to save my number under the name Daniela. That is also the name that I'm going by now. My name is Daniela Athena Marino. I didn't want Satoni to know that she was still talking to me. I looked around my house and smiled. Everything was set up and ready for Thanksgiving. It was going to be my first time spending the holidays in my own house. I walked into the living room and smiled at Vain. He was sitting on the couch watching TV. He sat up slowly and stretched when I came into the room.

"I think you have everything you need. You should be safe here, just lay low for a while. You still have two million dollars in the bank. I'll be heading back to New York. I have business to handle." He grabbed his jacket and smiled at me.

I bit my lip softly. I didn't want him to leave. I wasn't ready to be alone and I didn't know if I would ever see him again. I know that he was giving me my wish and allowing me to be free but was I really ready? I grabbed his arm when he tried to walk past me. "Um...well...I was wondering if you wanted to stay the night."

He chuckled, "are you afraid?"

I crossed my arms over my chest and rolled my eyes. "Of course not. I just wanted to have some company for the holiday. I was hoping that you would stay with me."

He sighed and tossed his jacket on the couch. "Sure, I guess I can. I don't have to be there; I can tell Ace to do it."

I smiled and grabbed his hand, "thank you. I'm not thanking you for just staying the night. I want to thank you for everything that you've done for me. I wouldn't be free if it wasn't for you."

He shrugged, "don't mention it."

"I want you to be honest with me about something."

He grabbed a grape off the fruit tray in the kitchen and popped it in his mouth. "Okay, ask me."
