I woke up and my house was quiet. I was unsure if Satoni was still sleeping. I wished that he was gone but I knew he wasn't. I frowned when the aroma of fresh pancakes hit my nose. I walked down the stairs slowly. What the hell was going on? I didn't know how I was going to get him to leave but he had to. I refused to give up everything that I worked so hard for. I gulped and walked into the kitchen slowly. To my surprise, Satoni was in the kitchen in white t-shirt and black Nike sweatpants. He was placing a stack of pancakes on the table.

I was shocked to see him in the kitchen

I was shocked to see him in the kitchen. What the hell was he doing? Did he cook all of this? My mind was going crazy but I wasn't expecting this at all. After what happened last night, I thought he would still be upset. I didn't want to talk to him but I knew that I had to. There was no way around that.

He looked up and smiled at me, "Merry Christmas and good morning."

I raised an eyebrow at him, "I guess the sweet Satoni is here this morning."

"Athena, don't start. It's Christmas and I don't want to argue with you. Please, come sit down and eat. We can talk because we didn't get to last night."

I folded my arms across my chest, "yeah because you attacked me."

He sighed, "come sit down now. I won't repeat myself."

I sighed loudly and walked over to the table. I wasn't in the mood for this but I had to deal with it. Satoni wasn't going to leave unless I talked to him so I had to get it out the way. I sat down slowly and he smirked sitting beside me. I looked at all the food and I couldn't deny that it looked delicious. There were pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, blueberry muffins, oatmeal, and fruit. I started to place food on my plate quickly.

"Um...Merry Christmas. Did you cook all of this?"

He laughed, "Buon Natale, and yes. I don't cook often but I thought that it would be a nice thing to do. I couldn't sleep anyway so I thought it was a good idea."

I took a bite of my muffin and moaned in delight. It was so good and delicate. It melted in my mouth and the blueberries were so fresh. I was eager to taste the other food but I wanted to take my time.
