Oikawa got out of the school gym and is now going home. He stayed after practice to practice more.

He sighed. "2 days. 2 days then we have a match with the crows. We need to prove we are better than them." Oikawa grinned.

He was going to go to the other side by the zebra-crossing. He looked side to side. Then crossed the road.

Just then. A car driven by a drunken driver ran in to Oikawa. Then left.

Oikawa was slipping in and out of consciousness. The people nearby rushed to him and called an ambulance.

It was morning practice. All were there. All except Oikawa.

"Where the fuck is he?" Iwaizumi said. It was unlike him to be late on a practice especially when a match is the day after tomorrow.

The coach entered. "Morning coach." They bowed. "Morning. Iwaizumi I have to talk to you." The coach said. There was a hint of sadness in his voice. "Sure?" Everyone was confused.

"Yes sir?" Iwaizumi went to the coach. The team was eavesdropping on their conversation. The coach knew but said nothing.

"You are going to be the captain for a few months or so..." 'What?' "Why sir? What about Oikawa?" "He-uh I do not know how to say this..."

The team became anxious. What was wrong with their captain? "He was involved in a hit and run car accident.. He is in a hospital in a coma." Silence.

The team could not believe what they were hearing. Tears streamed down their face. "What?" Iwaizumi fell on the floor on his knees.

The coach started tearing up too. As much as they teased Oikawa and all. They loved him a lot. He brought out the best of everyone. He helps everyone whenever they needed help. And now he...

"Y-you are lying! You are lying! Are you not..?" Yahaba said. "Just wait he-he is going to en-enter the door say-saying I-Iwa-chan..."

That day,they took an off. They could not practice. How could they? They just learned one of their friends was in a accident.

They were in the hospital in Oikawa's room. His parents requested that his identity remained unknown so the media did. They did not reveal his identity.

Iwaizumi just stared at Oikawa. 'Why? Why did this happen? I-I should not had le-left you-' his thoughts were interrupted by a hand placed on his shoulder.

"We are here for you. We know you loved Oikawa more than a friend." Makki said. And that caused Iwaizumi to break down. All his walls crashing down.

They were in the match with the crows. They were going to win this. They will for Oikawa.

"It seems that Seijoh's captain is not here." The narrator (?) said. This made the team want to cry but no they will stay strong.

They lost.... It was so close. 29-31. So so close. Just 2 more. 'I am sorry Oikawa' they thought.

The match just did not feel right. With out Oikawa. Yes, Iwaizumi was a good captain but Oikawa was better. Even Iwaizumi knew that.

Not having Oikawa telling them what to do. What will their special move be. Giving them inspirational speeches. Setting for them. It was not the same.

Although Kageyama might try to show otherwise. He cared about Oikawa. So seeing him not there made him worry. As well as the looks on the team.
