Oikawa and Iwaizumi are both very big influencers on YouTube. They have a large fan base. Fans started shipping them both from the first moment they did a video together. They had a reason,there was chemistry between them no one can deny it.
Fans tried very hard to get any one of them to confess by asking them several questions about each other but failed none the less. They started making fan fictions and fan art about them. When Oikawa and Iwaizumi first saw this, they had a good laugh and were very flustered. Fans started shipping them more hard core when Oikawa came out as gay and Iwaizumi as bisexual.
Seeing all this fan arts and fan fictions, Iwaizumi wanted them to occur in reality. Iwaizumi liked Oikawa and Oikawa liked Iwaizumi but both were too oblivious to notice. But these fan-made stuff gave Iwaizumi a new confidence to confess to Oikawa.

"Yahoo~ Iwa-chan! Why did you call me here so suddenly?" Iwaizumi asked Oikawa to meet them in their special park which no one knew of and no one went to. "No reason Shittykawa." Iwaizumi scoffed. Inside Iwaizumi was a mess.
Oikawa looked very cute rocking an oversized soft pink hoodie,which covered his whole arm leaving only the tips of his fingers peeking out. It reached him mid-thigh. He had black denim shorts which was almost covered by the hoodie. And this did not help Iwaizumi at all. He was having a mini bi-attack inside.
"Sooo~?" Oikawa looked confused,"why did you call so suddenly?" Iwaizumi snapped out of his little trance. "Why? Can I not spend time with my best friend?" "O-oh yea you can." Oikawa felt a bit sad hearing the word 'friends',he wanted to be more but he needed to accept the truth Iwaizumi did not like him that way. But he covered it up. "So what will we do?" "Let's walk around." "Sure!!"
