The sound of a door closing echoed throughout the quiet house. Iwaizumi went downstairs to greet his husband.

"You are back." Oikawa flinched and turned around with wide eyes. "I got scared!" Iwaizumi chuckled as he walked to his lover. "Why?" He said raising an eyebrow.

"I did not think anyone would be home as you come at 8p.m. usually." He said as he took off his shoes. Iwaizumi nodded as he backed away.

"I missed you Hajime!" The brunette said as he was going to hug Iwaizumi. But before he could hug his lover, Iwaizumi held a hand in front of him so Oikawa does not get too close. "Take a shower first, you stink."

Oikawa pouted. "So mean! At least a kiss?" Iwaizumi smiled at his whiny behavior before shaking his head.

"Go." He said pointing upstairs. Understanding that the noirette would not listen, the taller dragged himself upstairs dejected.

Oikawa and Iwaizumi had been married for 5 years now. They were both 26 years old.

They moved into a house 2 years before they got married. Both worked in places related to volleyball but they never really met each other in work.

Iwaizumi stared at the television which was showing a random channel but his mind was on something else.

"Haji!!" A shout broke him out of his trance. Loud footsteps were heard approaching the living room.

The shorter looked towards the entrance of the living room from where his lover came. "I showered. Now can I have a kiss?" The brunette said as he laid on Iwaizumi.

Iwaizumi nodded. Their lips met each other in a kiss.

Iwaizumi loved it when Oikawa was whiny. As they became adults, Oikawa stopped whining in public. But whenever the two were alone, Oikawa whines quite frequently, does he do it intentionally to annoy Iwaizumi. Perhaps, but Iwaizumi loved it that he was the only one who could see this side of him now.

They broke the kiss and smiled at each other as their eyes held a passionate gaze. They put their foreheads together.

After a while Oikawa sat up and started going through channels to find something to watch.

"Why were you home early anyways?" He said his eyes still not leaving the TV.

"Well nothing was really going on as it was a 'Bring your kids to work' day." Oikawa face showed a look of understanding.

"Those mischievous kids." Oikawa said smiling. "Yea but do you not like them?" Oikawa looked at Iwaizumi with a confused look before turning his attention back to the TV.

"I have no idea where that came from but yea I do." Iwaizumi nodded as he closed his eyes in relief.

A comfortable yet uncomfortable silence loomed over the room. 'This is your chance Iwaizumi. Say it.'

"I wanted to talk to you about something." This broke the silence. Oikawa turned his gaze back to his husband. "Yea? What is up?"

Suddenly Iwaizumi's throat felt dry. Thousands of thoughts were going through his head but it came to a pause when he felt a soft hand held his hand gently.

"You can tell me anything." Iwaizumi looked up from their hands to Oikawa who looked at him with a soft look.

Iwaizumi looked back down at his lap. "I was wondering- I mean it is fine if you do not want to or you are not ready but- but I have been thinking for a while and I... I want to have a kid."
