Sana reached home. It was small cosy two bedroom flat. She instantly felt the home like warmth. But her eyes wandered for her mother, just as she would do when she would return back from college screaming Maa. She smiled at the fond memory.

"Papa, its so beautiful.....par mujhe Maa ki yaad aai" Papa hugged her and kissed her forehead trying to ease her out.

"its okay bacha....mujhe bhi aati hai roj.....but ab main tujhe itna khilauga you will not miss Maa" she laughed at him, and his weird competition over food with Maa.

"Papa do you guys have a competition on, over your food" she asked innocently and he just laughed saying he loves teasing her maa, over it.

Maa felt the home, a strange place without Sana's screaming voice in it. She waited Sana to come and hug her. This house came to life when she speaks, when she laughs and when she is there. But it was quiet. But for her betterment she had let her go. Wiping the tears, she quickly resumed to her work and got herself busy to not notice her absence.

Weeks have passed. Sana was in constant touch with all her friends. Her evenings would be always for them. She would call them, and they all would fill her with the latest news. Sidharth would always be one of the topic. ThougH Sana never asked about Sidharth, but when told she never stopped. She wanted to know how was he doing. She wanted to know if he was happy, she wanted to know if smiled, if he ate and every little detail of him. Shreya has been a great support to her, the emotional support she provided helped Sana a lot and the scrapbook which she assumed to be her was the powerhouse for her.

Riya ans Anshika were her partners in crime. Whenever she would feel low, all she would have to do was a call to Riya and Riya had the magic in her that she would laugh till her stomach hurts.

She had got new friends in her college. They were just acquaintance. In college she would be them and enjoy. Every night, against her wish she would cry missing Sidharth. Her mind would run back to him, when he was with her injured. She missed his warmth. She missed every aspect of him.

Sidharth was no less. He was quieter than earlier and had been short tempered. He would go berserk even at slightest thing.
The calm he got from Sana was long lost. Nothing would give him peace and he would usually be busy in studies, to keep himself busy.

It was the last evening when a huge fight broke between him and Raj.

"Hi, Mr. Broken.....lagata hai dil toota hai.....but I wonder tere pass dil tha kya jo tutega.....poor girl.....what was her name...han Sana....itna pyaar krti thi tujhe......tune bhi poore maje liye or jab man bhar gaya toh aa gya apni permanent waali pe" and the next moment he was on the floor with his broken and bleeding jaw. The blow he got was the softest, you can think the hardest then.

"Abeeyyyy mere muh lgna band kar de smajh me aaya na...samajh me aaya na........saala pure college main muh dikhane layak nahi rahega aisi halat kar dunga.......AND GET THIS CLEAR IN YOUR HEAD NEVER I REPEAT NEVER TAKE HER NAME FROM YOUR FLITHY MOUTH" Sidharth roared back kicking the chair he was sitting on.

The changes in him were horrifying. He would never listen what was his friends talking while they gathered in the canteen. He loved loneliness more than anything. Sana was the constant thing what kept his mind occupied. Sheena was worried and didn't knew what happened between the both that day that she left him, and she was surprised to know that Sidharth didn't even stop her once.

*******

"tujhe pata hai Sana aaj Sidharth or Raj ka jagdha ho gaya......Raj ka muh toot gaya like literally toot gaya...." Riya informed her when they were having the con call with Sana. Sana was worried but she didn't show it while asking.

"Toh....kya karun main.....they always fight whats new in that" but her heart was screaming to ask if he was okay, her mind denied and she walked the way her mind was on.

"But he was at mistake Sana....tere baare main bakwaas kar rha tha....and the way Sidharth warned him I tell you Sana......agar woh tera nahi hota na I would have snogged him then and there " and Anshika went quiet realising what she blabbered and she instantly apologized "Sorry baby... Mera woh matalb nahi tha...."

"It's okay Ani.....and you can snog him, just like others who are always on him like a leech.....and woh mera nahi hai" her stern voice mellowed speaking the last sentence. The last words had the pain in them which she can't show to anyone.

She cried, after the call disconnected and trying to distract herself, she dipped herself in the books but the tears never stopped.

Every evening Sidharth would go to meet maa, he wouldn't miss it whatsoever happen.

"Maa" he called out for her when he didn't see her and she came running from Sana's room worried at his screaming.

"kya hua......kyun chilla rha hai" she rebuked when she found him gobbling at the cookies. "Pata hai Sana bhi aise hi chup chup ke cookies khati thi" she added further reminiscing Sana and he had the tears form in his eyes at once. He missed her terribly and it pained knowing that she would be hating him let alone missing him. He wiped away the tear before it came to notice and hugged Maa. Sidharth, when he knew he can't handle the pain he would just go to her room and cover himself in her duvet and sleep. The room had her essence in it and her warmth. He was never worried to get to his house back because no one cared and nothing mattered there. He would many a times sleep there only with tears and smile.

"Come on Maa.....I don't eat like her.....she literally murders the food" he complained for being accused of eating like her and Maa laughed at him. He was sole reason she misses Sana a little less and the also the sole reason to miss her more.

"chup kar aise bol rha hai usko......main bataungi usko phir woh class legi teri" Sidharth smiled but he knew this will never happen again, she was never going to see him.

"Nahi Maa ab woh nahi karegi"

"Karegi main jaanti hun meri beti hai woh.....samjha ab apna muh mat sada...." and their talk continued.

That very evening she opened the scrapbook second time after it being unwrapped. She saw her pic, where she had chocolate smeared on her face. She scrunched her nose at that, because she believed she looked bad, but the one who clicked it found it to be the most adorable one.

Your chocolate smeared face make me want to clean it my way, and I know it would be ten times sweeter

Her eyebrow rose at the line written below it. Shreya would not write that, but she said it she had given her then. She wanted to ask Shreya that very moment but it was too late so she decided to ask later.

You can be far from me, but you can't be away from my heart.
