That day....

Sana was crying hiding herself in his chest mumbling angry yet cute warnings for him to never hurt himself. "Aapko meri kasam agar kabhi aapne khud ko hurt kiya toh maine aapse katti kar leni, jab tak aap mujhko nahi manaoge phir se." He laughed so loud that she for a moment got scared and then back to her angry mode.

"I promise doll"

"Aap andar jao sab aapka wait kar rahe hai, kitna pareshan ho gaye honge na"

"Tum bhi hui"

"jaan attak gayi thi meri aapka Hanth dekh kar"

She had answer for the question and she has told herself a zillion times in day, but speaking it aloud to him was terrifying because she knew he just cared for her, may be as a friend and if that is what it takes to be close to him so let it be, let the feelings be without words.

He just hoped for something that he is not ready for, but still hoped for it. But paitenece is what it takes. He cupped her face pulling away and rubbed his thumb softly on her red cheeks and kissed her forehead saying " I will wait"
Not knowing for what, for her to join him back in the hall or to hear what she wanted to always say.

He left from there and Sana was going to the medical room to keep back the medical box when she heard some girls talking.

"yaar this girl Sana, what has she done to Sidharth"

"yes man I have never seen him like this "

"yes everyone know about his and Raj frictions and there have been fights but this was so extreme"

"I think this Sana is bad news for him and Sidharth is only going to ruin himself in her"

"Ya right, leave it we can only pray that he gets to know the reality of these middle class people all they know is how to loosen your pockets and throw you away"

It is truly amazing how every time someone feels emotional pain, it doesn't hurt as a cut or a bruise would. It's just this heavy feeling. Your head spins and it's as if your tongue feels too big for your mouth. You feel the need to wipe away non-existent tears that you want to form but they wont. The pain the words caused was like an icy wind choking the breath from her lungs and making a noose around her neck. She can never be and she never wanted to be the bad news for him. All she wished and prayed for him was his happiness and if it was in her staying away she would no matter how much it pains her and how many times it breaks her heart.

Present day...

Sidharth was pierced with a thousands needles with the words he heard for her and he knew she would have not told him the exact words but just the essence of it. He held her more tighter and kissed her forehead a multiple times as if trying to ease out the pain she would have felt at that moment. He hated himself for being the cause of her miseries when she only deserved happiness and love. A scratch and he will go mad but what about the emotional pain he felt when he was not victim.

"I am sorry Sana meri wajah se....", he was not able to complete the sentence as he was silenced by her little soft fingers on his lips.

"Aisa kabhi sochna bhi mat", she scolded him in baby anger which disappeared at the instant touch of his lips on her fingers that rested to shush him.

"but phir bhi mer..."

"Sidharthhhhhhhh"

"okay okay", he raised his hands in surreneder and she giggled.

Sheena, Rahul and Anish have been waiting for Sidharth and were now worried because its was long now that he left. Rahul was in the pool of thoughts as to why Sana not being with him didn't prick his heart, he love her he assured himself but he himself now seemed dicey about it. Is he really in love with her, but the answers were not there. He saw that love in Sidharth's behaviour which he found missing in him. He did feel agitated knowing about the beautiful things Raj said but Sidharth's reaction spoke love. He felt agitated at his words but Sidharth's outburst was at his words said against Sana. "pheww I don't know man what is it between me and her, I am leaving it you", he whisphered to himself looking at the almighty and handing him the strings of his heart to join it to its correct end.

Sana after a while was back to canteen to his friends all chirpy and cheerful and happy and her face which seemed tired and weak in morning was now like fresh daisy which received its first ray of light.

"ho gaya tera siyappa thik" Riya asked her as soon as she sat on the chair.

"hmmmm", Sana replied with the widest grin reminiscing the moments with Sidharth.

"ho hi gaya hoga iska hero jo tha saath mein", Anshika teased her as she saw Sidharth entering the canteen just a few seconds after she did and the lipstick on her tshirt was telling the story damn well.

" hayye waise ek baat toh manani padegi ki ladka hai toh bahut hot matalb kya se..."

"muh tod dungi mein tera agar tune bakwaas ki", Sana rebuked Riya who was eyeing Sidharth.

"main toh keh rahi thi ki jiju bahut hot hai", she came with a reply in her defence emphasing on jiju deliberately to make her go red, while Anshika and Riya kept laughing at them.

Sidharth was bombarded with questions as soon as he made himself comfortable on the chair.

"kaha tha be tu kabse pareshaan ho rahe hai hum log or phone toh tu apna phek hi de saala uthana toh hota nahi hai toh kyun rkhta hai", Anish was first to blast followed by Sheena

"han Sidharth kam se kam kisi ko bata ke toh jata, lekin nahi tujhe toh bas bahgna tha , kha gaya tha waise"

"kahi nahi yaar, or aisa lag raha main under investigation hun tabse pooche jaa rhe ho sawaal pe sawaal"

"rhne de bhai ab toh tu chupa rustam ho gaya hai kuch batata hi nahi hai, bas marne peetne pe aa jata hai", Anish teased him earning a punch on his arm.

"waise Rahul tu bata tera kya hua" Sheena asked a while later.

"kya?"

"Are tu toh propose karne waala tha na Sana ko, uska"

"are kuch nahi hua uska, us din drama ho gaya itna phir manuka hi nahi mila or waise bhi mujhe lagta hai I need more time to understand my feelings, I don't know if I am even sure about it"

Sheena was evidently sad at this, she was seeing Rahul as a hope but it was also not profitable. She sighed and closed her eyes trying to let go of her feelings which she has been feeling since the time they have met.
