TRATS 2: Our Happy Ending

Chapter 12

"Ahhhh no!!!" Lisa yells.

Jennie who just went downstairs heard the yelling. She rushes to that sound and saw Lisa struggling to flip the pancake.

"Lis, what are you doing? I thought Jungkook already make it clear you can't cook." Jennie says before putting down Taewhan on the baby chair.

"I can cook, okay? It not that I will miscarriage when I touch the pan." She rolls her eyes.

"Whatever. Let me cook. You sit there with your...um...soon to be big belly with my son." Jennie chuckles at what she said.

Lisa laughs and sits beside Taewhan. She playing with him. Lisa's stomach getting bigger and it obvious already. But not too big yet.

"Oh! I didn't saw Jungkook this morning. Where is he? I mean, all of them." Lisa asks.

"I don't know. I didn't saw Tae when I woke up also." She sighs.

"They go to work. They have come back, you know." Jisoo speaks.

The girls were startled by her sudden exit. She just smiles and sits across Lisa. Jennie shakes her head and continue cooking.

"Comeback? I know that but...they should tell us first." Lisa looks down. A pregnant woman can be sensitive sometimes.

"Hey, Lis. Don't think too much. They probably wake up late this morning." Jisoo comforts her.

"Maybe." She smiles.

They chuckle. Then, they hear footsteps coming toward the kitchen. It reveals Chaeyoung with messy hair and her pajamas. The girls just look at her.

"Chae, you look...wow. I don't know to describe it. Maybe...pale?" Jisoo guesses.

"I don't know what happened to me. I keep having morning sickness and my head is fuc*ing hurt!!" Chae growls. "Everything is not perfect around me!!" She yells.

"Maybe you are too stressful." Lisa pats her back. They know their friend having a problem with her company.

"I think so." She mutters.

Jennie glance at the back to Chae. She looks down and back to her pancake.

"Where are Jimin and the boys?" Chae asks.

"They already went to work." Lisa answer while playing with Taewhan.

Chaeyoung just replies with a hum. Jennie puts down the plates of pancakes down. She holds Chae's hands to get her attention.

"What is it, Jen?" She raises her eyebrows.

"Nothing. Here, let's have breakfast girls." Jennie smiles and sits beside Jisoo. She just shrugs her shoulder.

Chaeyoung takes off her helmet and fixes her hair. She gets off her motorbike and put down the helmet. Suddenly, her phone let out a sound 'ding'.

'We will be home late so no need to wait, baby.' – Jimin.

'Okay. Fighting!! I love you~' – Chae.

'Your words make me energetic; you know. 😉" – Jimin.

When saw the text that Chaeyoung let out a chuckle. She put back her phone and turn her body-

"Good morning, Mrs. Park." Mr. Jeongin suddenly appeared behind her.

"Ahh!!" Chaeyoung stumbles back. "What the- I mean, good morning to you too. What are you doing here, Sir?" She asks.

"To meet you." He answers bluntly.

"Why?" Chae frowns when she asks that.

"Well, to tell you that I already change the deal." He smiles.

Chaeyoung let out a heavy sigh and walk past him. That didn't stop him at all. Instead, he just walks after her.

"Mrs. Park, I already change it for you. Can you a least check it first?" He asks.

"Mr. Jeongin, I think I already make it clear that I don't want to deal with you." Chae tries to hold herself from yelling.

He just being rude to her before this and he still has the nerve to face her. It stressing her out to handle this kind of people.

"Why not? We can improve together." Once again, he tries to convince her.

"I said no means NO!!!" Chae yells catch everyone's attention in the company.

Their boss just raising her voice!!

Their boss is yelling!!

It was so rare!!

Mr. Jeongin standing there with a surprised expression. The lady in front of him just yelling.

"Don't you get it!? I have my personal reasons why I don't want to cooperate with you!!" Chae let it out. "One of them is, my company reputation will go down!!"

She turns around and leaves him there alone. The co-workers start their job because seeing Rose's angry side is so scary.

Chaeyoung slams the door close and sits on her chair with a heavy sigh. She held her head and groans. She feels like she going to cry so she put her head on the table.

"Why I'm so sensitive this past few days..." Chae murmurs.

Her hand tries to reach her phone in her pocket to call Jimin. She needs someone who can give her comfort. While she calling him, she waits patiently for him to pick up.

When realizes he didn't pick up, she calls him again. The results are still the same. Chaeyoung put down her phones. That time also, the door slams open.

"Hey, the famous CEO!!!" Jennie yells.

"CAN YOU NOT YELLING JEN!!??" Chae scolds her. Jennie froze when heard she just scolds her.

Not playfully but angrily.

"Woah. Um...sorry. I didn't call or text you first before because I thought I want to make it surprised." Jennie explains. "But when see you like this...uhh...mind to tell me what happens?" She walks toward her.

Chaeyoung finally lifted her gaze and when saw she crying, Jennie rush to her and hug her.

"Hey, why you crying? Is someone hurting you?" She asks gently.

"I don't know why but I'm too stress and-and I'm so sensitive..." Chae cried.

"I notice that." Jennie strokes her hair.

"What's happening to me, Jen?" Chae cried.

"Before I answer your question, I need you to answer mine first." Jennie grins when she broke the hug. "Have you miss your period?" She asks.

Chaeyoung thinks about it for a while. When she notices that Lisa already 1 month pregnant, she didn't come period at all.

"I missed it. Why?" She frowns.

Jennie smirks. She holds her hands, "Are you free right now?"

"Yeah. Because I just got here." Chae rolls her eyes.

"Great!! Mind to come with me? It wouldn't take long, I promise." Jennie speaks with a bright tone.

Chaeyoung can't reject it because she is too tired to argue so she just nods and follows her.
