TRATS 2: Our Happy Ending

Chapter 6

Very loud crying sounds can be heard in this entire house. Taewhan who just born, crying like there's something he didn't want. The boys already off for rehearsal so the girls still at home. Chaeyoung runs toward the baby's room and saw Jennie trying to calm him down.

She obviously looks tired and maybe it because she doesn't have a good night's sleep since Taewhan still needs an under watch. Jisoo and Chaeyoung are already dressed up to go to work.

"What's going on?" Jisoo asks.

"He keeps crying. I try to breastfeed him but he didn't want to." Jennie sighs while calming him down.

"His diaper?" Chaeyoung asks.

"It clean." Jennie answers.

"Well, it normal, Unnie. Because he still little." Lisa pats her shoulder.

"Lisa was right. It probably hard first but then it will worth it." Jisoo chuckles. 

Jennie chuckles and keeps bouncing up and down to make Taewhan stops crying. Chaeyoung checks the watch on her wrist and she gasps.

"I'm late for work!! I have a meeting!!" She runs out of the room without saying goodbye or anything. 

The girls exchange looks and laugh. "Our chipmunks always like that." 

"Well, take care of both of you. I will go now." Jisoo waves a goodbye. 

"Bye!!!" Lisa and Jennie say.

Chaeyoung arrives and parks her motorbike. She takes off her helmet and runs inside the building as fast as she can. Some of the co-workers greet their boss but Chaeyoung just smiles.

She pushes the elevator button and waits for the door to open. While waiting, she keeps praying she can be right on time. The sounds 'ding' snap her mind out of it. She gets in an before she turns the button-

"Wait!! Don't close it yet!!" Someone yells.

Chaeyoung steps back and keeps glancing at her watch. That person gets in and the door closes. The silence fills the elevator. Chaeyoung takes out her phones and texts her assistant to ask for the clients to wait.

"Thank you for hold the door for me." That person says. 

"Yeah, you welcome." Chaeyoung replies without looking at him. Her eyes focus on her phone and not to be rude but she really is an urgent time.

"Wait. You sound familiar." That person murmurs.

Before he even could ask him, the elevator door opens and Chaeyoung runs out to the meeting room. 

She takes off her coat and saw her assistant waiting outside the meeting room. 

"Sorry. I don't know I already late." Chaeyoung catching the breaths.

"It okay, president. The clients just arrive and you right on time." She smiles.

"Lucky me, I guess. Here. Put this on my desk." Chaeyoung hands her the coat and helmet before she walks in.

He wet his hair with a bottle of water. Namjoon hand him another water.

"If you need more, there's a box of mineral water over there." He points out. Jimin nods.

"Boys, listen up. This week will be rehearsal only and next week the concert will start. So, after the concert started, I remind you guys again that you will have a very tight schedule." The manager said.

"It will be tiring." Taehyung groans.

"Of course. Everything. First, this concert. Second, going to performs where you guys being invited to be. Third, comeback. Lastly, the biggest work, World Tour." The manager read what is written on the paper.
