Poem: I am the Victim Here

Why do I not hate you

But I hate myself, me

Do you even have a clue?

The pain I endure,  do you see?

I won't let you control me with fear

I want my heart to be my own

And all your evils are still unknown

I am the victim here

Rough, cruel, and vile that is what you are

I will not hesitate to strike

I observe you from afar

Yes, you I rather disike

I feel your whispers and glares when I'm near

I threaten you, I know

Because of you, I am stronger, my gratitude to you I owe

I am the victim here

Why you did what you did

I'm unsure

It's all a game, a big fib

I believe this shows that you are immature

Your absurd rumors about me, I hear

I already forgave you, to be right with God I must

But I couldn't be your friend again,  for you have lost my trust

I am the victim here
