The definition of a "Book Hangover" is
1)The inability to start a new book because you are still the last book's world
2) The inability to function at work/school because you were up all night binge-reading
This happens to me so often it's not even funny. I can't start a book becuase I'll be like:
"but I don't want to leave you."
Book: "Oh my dear, I'll always be with you."
Me: "You idiot! Don't you understand? I love you!"
Book: "I know, I know. I love you too, more than you'll ever know. We will meet agian. Soon. Perhaps in another life. It simply wasn't ment to be."
Me: *cries, sobs, kisses book goodbye, runs away, struggles moving on*
It's like a break up, I swear to god its so hard! So it's gonna be forever. Or its gonna go down in flames. You can tell me when it's over, if the high is worth the pain...;)
*Blank Space-Taylor Swift
No cup of tea can be big enough, no book c a n be long enough to satisfy my endless desire for escape.
